Hi Ladies,

first time posting but a keener lurker.

Myself and my partner would love to have a baby in a few years time. We are at a lovely and stable stage in our relationship and feel really strong as a couple, but we are still fairly young and there’s still things we would like to do before trying for a baby.

I am currently on the combined pill and plan on continuing this until we are ready to TTC.
Over the last week or so I have felt ‘different’ in myself, but put that down to ++stress and upset with the prognosis of a terminally ill close family member. I had my normal ‘week off withdrawal bleed’ but it was much shorter than usual.

I have just taken a Sainsbury’s PG test and got a very faint positive at 2 mins. I have since taken it apart to look at the strip more closely and have a definite line - although it is now past the allotted time. Could this be an Evap. line or am I expecting a baby?

If you got a line within the time, however faint, that’s a positive. I would do another to be sure.

It sounds like you're quite likely to be pregnant. Can you do another test and pm a picture of you're too new a user to post one on the thread

Sounds like it could have been a positive

Have you been ill (sickness maybe) that might have affected the pill?
Even without sickness the pill isn't 100% reliable.

Took 2 more tests, pink line ones and both negative. Will do another in a few days to be sure, but a little part of me is a little bit sad.
