TTC #3 .... Anyone else?

Currently ttc #3 ! Cycle 2 has just begun! I'm 29.

1st baby was a surprise
2nd baby was conceived 1st try

Had my hopes up for conception again first try but wasn't so lucky ! Hoping it won't be too long though .

Who else is ttc #3? How long did it take with previous dc? And how long have you been trying this time around

Im 28, and TTC no. 3

First two conceived first try. I'm now on cycle 2 - CD24. OV'd on CD18 so im 7dpo. Did a FRER - obvs negative.

Cycles have normally been 28 days. Last cycle was 30 days and this I believe will b e longer too? No idea why....

Same boat. First two first try. Now on my third cycle to try for number 3. I’m 35 so a bit older 😀 my Dc are 5 and 6. My cycles used to be 28 clock work but become shorter with spotting. I am doing accupuncture now, which stopped the spotting and helped my cycle return to 28 days in the first month of doing the accupuncture. Now waiting for fertile time and will hopefully try!

Hi @sharkdo and @mamabear12 ! Sounds like we're all in a similar boat ! Did you both get your hopes up about conceiving first try like me ?

I'm only on CD2, already so impatient 🙈 I've been charting since July/August and have had 30 day cycles each month so pretty regular! I had the copper coil before we started trying so no hormones , hoping that will be helpful since I don't have to wait for cycles to regulate ! I think I ovulate around day17 , my positive OPKs have been around day 15/16 so I think so, haven't been temping though to confirm.

My eldest is 6 and youngest 19 months! Suppose it won't be a bad thing if it did take a couple of months, not sure now the 2.5 year gap would be! Harder work than a 5 year gap that I have anyway lol

Hey ladies I get my coil taken out first thing Friday morning cant wait then it will be all systems go to #ttc baby number 4 and my period has just finished on Sunday night/early Monday morning. So I'm hoping with it getting took out Friday I'm fertile straight away. We did try a while back for 17 months but I become really obsessive and was heartbroken every month We were dtd every Other day I was taking opks to make sure I was ovulating just nothing happened. We have had a 6 month break and we are ready to try again. This time I'm going to try and be more laid back xx

Oh I forgot to say I'm 34 yrs of age lol x

Hi I'm ttc #3 1st cycle currently on day 2 of my period so have a week or so before the fun begins hehe

I'm 32 dd1 took 2 years at ages 21 and dd2 took 1month at age 24! I'm obviously older now and worried if may take a while but I'm in no rush and just want to enjoy ttc rather than stressing too much like I did with my first!

I kind of thought/wished we would be lucky again first try. But I also thought bc we were lucky twice first time that we might not be so lucky as fast the third time. Now I’m worried it will take a while or I can’t get pregnant! It is over 5 years since my last pregnancy. My dh is also 44! So not a spring chicken. But we got pregnant first try (and only one try) both pregnancies so I know we can get pregnant. I just hope everything still works.

I’m hoping the big gap will make things easier. My first two are only 20 months apart. My first was 11 months when I got pregnant with the second. I had a fear that it would take several months to get pregnant again and convinced my dh that we should just try a little early. So third time he didn’t want to try a little early and now I fear the gap is getting bigger and bigger! Ah well. I’m trying to relax this cycle we try as the last two we tried I started to test too early.

Yikes. My fertility monitor is flashing today so I wonder if I’m going to ovulate earlier this month?!
