What DPO can you get your BFP?

I feel like I saw this thread recently but now I cannot find it for the life of me.

Interested to know what dpo you all test, and when you got your bfp.

AF is due Friday but I'm off to NYC Thursday and feel like I should test before I go so I'm prepared and bad news doesn't ruin my trip. However, AF tends to come around 10dpo for me, so I'd be testing at 9dpo max and I doubt that's enough. What do you think? Anyone got a bfp at 8/9dpo?

I also worry that having a short wait between ovulation and AF could affect our ability to conceive but that is a whole other can of worms!

Here's what you need.

You can also google 'positive pregnancy test by brand' and you can get the stats on each brand by dpo.

I splurged on the clear blue early test with a digital display as I really needed pregnant or not pregnant in black and white. I got a bpf 3 days before my period was due and now have a 10 week old baby.

Thanks @physicskate - so looks around 50/50. I'll probably take one and keep my fingers crossed. Not feeling overly positive this month to be honest so imagine AF will come on time

Congrats @blackcat86! Do you know how many dpo that was? I bought a clear blue last month and swiftly AF arrived before i could use it 🤦‍♀️ they say around 6 days before AF but assuming that's for people with Norma 2ww

With my 2 MCs earlier this year, I got a BFP at 14dpo 10dpo - it totally depends when the egg implants I think! They were both on FRER x

I was using ovulation kits so I know I conceived 2 weeks before my period was due but the early detection test worked 3 days before my period was due. I actually got a negative the day before! Try and be on the look out for signs about a week before your period. I had implantation bleeding, a lot of flushing, tiredness and my sweat smelt weird.

RMarieClaire yeah you are right there with it being based on women with the usual 14 day luteal phase. Take a test 9dpo and maybe take a test with you on your trip too.

Its tricky because I've been on this board long enough now to know some women dont get a BFP till a week after their missing AF (despite knowing when they ovulated due to BBT charting)

For me I got a BFP at 8dpo with DS on a FRER

I got a BFP on Aug 20th at 3+4 from my LMP (27 July). I tested because I was feeling v sick.

Have had booking scan now and they've moved me ahead with dates by 6 days.

Conception calculators say I must've ovulated between July 31st and August 8th.
