First flashing smiley

Hi I'm new to all this so please bare with me I've been testing every day for about a week and today I got my first ever flashing smiley, I stopped taking my pill just short of 3 weeks ago so I don't know how long my cycles are it when to begin testing so I just started testing every day and today I got the flashing smiley, just wondering what this means I know it means I'm fertile at the moment but how many days am I likely to have flashing smileys before I get the static one and before I ovulate? Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! It varies for each woman from month to month - this month I didn’t get any flashing smileys, just went from low fertility to static smiley! So to cover all bases just DTD every day :-)

I usually get 4-5. But more have been known. I’ve been going for a while. (And Clear blue are ££££) Can’t get the internet cheapy sticks to work!

I have the boots ovulation test strips and I done one this morning and had two lines which shows signs of ovulation so I done the clear blue to be sure and that's when I got my first flashing smiley, been DTD quote a lot, I'm just really unsure of how everything works including my own body as I've been on the pill for 10 years, it's nice to know my body is doing what it's supposed to.
