38notcounting I am CD 11 and still on high...We are dtd every second day, so will be dtd again tomorrow. I am using cheap opks as well, just in case I miss the LH surge. Get doing the deed...sprinking baby dust!

Dunno if anyone can shed some light for me. So I got a blinking smiley on my CB OPK on Saturday morning. And again Sunday and today. I've done ICs too (did them Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon and today) and all have been negative. I know they say it has to be a strong line but yesterday it was the strongest it's been yet still lighter than the control. (I've never got a positive from them). My temp has gone up (I hope this is true and not due to the fact I have a cold) and I had ewcm on Saturday and a bit on Sunday morning but not much now at all.
My app says I should ovulate tomorrow but for some reason I feel like I have?
Will the CB OPK just keep giving me blinking smileys till it detects the surge and if not? It keeps blinking?

These are my apps. Saying completely different things! 😫😫😫😫 I discarded fridays temp on natural cycles but not ff as I thought it might be high due to being unwell but now thinking maybe it was just higher.

38notcounting Sounds like a plan! I am down 4.5 kg so I am trying my hardest to stay on my healthy eating plan....I hope to be down anothr 1.5 kg for Christmas day! I will know when I ovulate when my BFP is due! Fx for us all x

Hi Cara, im good thank you. This is cycle two and i think my app says period due 11 days from now. So if I get one of those clear blue early predictors I could maybe know in 5 days??

I'm about to get be up for now. I'm only on my fifth cycle but it's proving to be really hard on me every time AF is supposed to arrive. I have line eyes (I swear I can see things) and my DP thinks it's taking it's on my MH. My endocrinologist told me I'd have to wait 2-3 months for my new medication to work, so I'm thinking I should try at least until the three month mark had passed. Which would be mid February, our 7th cycle trying. I just hate symptom sport getting my hopes up and then bam AF arrives :(

@Cara thanks. It went really well yesterday. Donor had 100 million MOT sperm. so fingers crossed.

@Chiki I'm so sorry to hear that. Miscarriages are horrible. Remember it's OK to not be okay. Don't let anyone force you to appear to feel better than you do. It isn't just "oh you can just try again", it can be devastating, and you're completely justified in feeling that. Many hugs x

@Needadoughnut I know what you mean. I make the lines "appear" by sheer willpower at this point lol it is super tough on the MH, for sure. Make sure you take care of yourself. It's no use having a baby if mum isn't doing okay x

@mamadane that actually made me feel better. I've sort of taken today off as I've just been staring at tests and crying my eyes out. I just wish my little bean from two months ago had decided to stay.

@Needadoughnut it's a good idea to take a day off now and then, when it all gets a little too much. And oh I know how you feel. I still count how many weeks pregnant I would be if I hadn't miscarried in the 9th week (it's 31 weeks).
I suppose there's a reason it didn't happen, you know, other than the obvious 'not viable', but yeah perhaps I'm meant an autumn baby, not a winter bub. I don't know. I do know that I miss the little bean, like you miss yours.

Thanks for your kind words Mama I do wonder how it would be of he had decided to stay. All I can do is reassure the next little bean wherever it is that I'm impatiently waiting for it to announce its presence and that it will be love and wanted by mummy and daddy.

@MrsL how’s is the SMEP treating you? I’m now 8dpo I think loool. My apps were giving me conflicting dates so I totally disregarded them this month. I get ovulation pains so that helps in a way. This cycle I reckon I ovulated early because the cramps started 2days after my period just as when I started SMEP so we dtd right through and ended covering ovia and flo’s fertile window predictions anyway. Take the apps with a grain of salt, sometimes your body is a good enough indicator. Good luck all the same and baby dust.✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

No way so you think you O'd right after AF? Did you do OPKs?
Oh well SMEP failed miserably. Haha. Well we started off great and then my DH decided to have a complete meltdown about it and he said the pressure was too much for him as he saw it as he was solely responsible for giving me a baby. I mean bless him but I don't think he gets half of it. Anyway I had to keep my emotions aside as it really got him down and had to support him. In any case. He doesn't want to know when I ovulate now so I'm a Lone Ranger gone rogue with OPKs and FRERs 😂🤦🏼‍♀️
We have come to a small cross roads too really as we are doing a very big house renovations and found out it's gonna cost much more than anticipated and take longer so now I don't know if the sensible thing to do would be to wait...but I can't stop now I'm on the bus.

That's so good you managed to SMEP all the way through your fw though!! Got everything crossed for you!!! When's af due?

@MrsLBear SMEP isn’t easy, I had to order some preseed just towards the end and it was starting to take the toll on the DH so I totally understand where you are coming from. I stopped OPK tests so that sort of helped take the edge off. By the time we were flagging is ideally when we needed to stop.

And you aren’t a Lone Ranger, you have all of us to discuss lines with 😜 I can really relate with you about maybe wanting to take a break because you have a lot on but it seems once you get on this baby bus, it’s hard to dismiss the idea 😊

Instead of jumping into SMEP again, why don’t you start dtd every 2 -3 days leading up to fertile window, keeping in mind that sperms lives for 5 days or so. That way you both have enough time to recover and can bank on having soldiers in waiting, what do you ladies think?

I’ve kept a diary of all my symptoms so will post them if they help anyone
