@BLS1983 and @MrsLBear I'm with you on the long cycles! Since I haven't used ovulation tests before it feels like i could be in my fertile week for about 3 weeks! Definitely going to use ovulation tests if I'm not pregnant this time.

8dpo today although if my cycle is the same length as the last two which were shorter than average at 32 days, then I could be up to 11 dpo. Felt a bit sick this morning and I noticed tonight after having a wee there was a tiny bit of pink spotting on the tissue. Not a smear of blood but like a tiny really fine line as thin as cotton thread, almost too small and thin to see but I did notice it. Don't know what that means... Maybe AF will show up before Thursday earlier than I thought xxxx

BLS1983 · 09/11/2018 20:00

Oh @ChikiTIKI that could be implantation bleeding. Fingers crossed for you hun xx

Whisky2014 · 09/11/2018 20:02

Argh and now I logged creamy discharge which the Flo app tells me comes before ovulation! But I ovulated 5 days ago or something. Wtf is my body doing?!

BLS1983 · 09/11/2018 20:07

Time for more bd'ing :-) @Whisky2014 . I'm due a night off with hubby tomorrow so gonna have to test first thing to be sure I'm in the clear for a good drink xx

Whisky2014 · 09/11/2018 20:11

What is bding?! Sorry I'm new to this.

BUT also I found out today my company maternity pay kicks in after 1 year service not 2 like I'd originally been told. So when I thought it was 2 years I didnt want to wait and cracked on anyway but now I found its 1 year I am kicking myself because I have only been there 2 months and i should wait 1 more month to be eligible for it. It's 90% for 26 weeks!! I kinda hope it doesn't work for me this month...

ChikiTIKI · 09/11/2018 21:18

Wow that's great maternity pay @Whisky2014 !! Is your company hiring by any chance ?
Isn't it frustrating how when you apply for a job it feels like you can't ask about things like maternity policy? I left a previous job because they did no additional maternity pay, only statutory. Didn't want to risk the same thing happening again so got a job in the NHS as I could easily look up their policy online. Private companies hardly ever publish their policies though! And even when I'm in a job I feel like I have to look over my shoulder before having s look at the maternity pointy incase someone sees!!

Whisky2014 · 09/11/2018 21:24

Yes, definitely Chiki. I waited until no one was in the office so i could look up the policy on my computer. Actually another woman started in the same role as me this week and we got onto the subject of babies today. It was she who told me the package kicked in at 1 year service not 2 (she checked the policy on wednesday when i was working at home hehe). I asked if she was trying and she said no she would wait a while so she could get the package. I honestly think it would be just my luck I'd get pregnant on my first ever cycle of ttc rather than waiting 1 more month to get all thay money. Lol we will see...week and half to wait!!

ChikiTIKI · 09/11/2018 21:37

@Whisky2014 hehe that's cute that you both covertly looked up the policy when the other wasn't there!!
I can see why you would want to hold off to get the excellent maternity package. I'm sure you will make it work if you are pregnant this month though.

I got pregnant first month with my first baby but it's taking longer this time. Makes me think maybe I am not that fertile after all and could actually have just been really lucky last time. No way of knowing really. But every child is a wonderful gift no matter when they turn up! :)

Would be nice if you and your work colleague were pregnant at the same time I bet. You could support each other and all that kind of stuff :) xxxx

Whisky2014 · 09/11/2018 21:44

Yes we would cope, it would just be nice to have :)
Haha Yeh it was quite funny actually when we both let on we want kids and don't really want to wait. We ended up talking about babies all afternoon and we did both joke about what if we were pregnant at the same time :D

I read it's something like a 30% chance of conceiving on first cycle then I think by cycle 6 it's up to like 80%. I'm sure it will happen for you. It will happen when the time is right x

I have had dreams about having a baby and then when i wake up in so disappointed.

BLS1983 · 09/11/2018 22:45

Hope both of you fall soon 😘😘. I'm sticking at a full time job to just get the full package. I think it's sensible to think about money xx

ChikiTIKI · 10/11/2018 07:55

Yes I agree. I am back at work full time and am applying for a promotion at the moment. I feel kind of guilty in a way for (if I get pregnant soon) having two maternity leaves close together but I will be done after that and be working for another 35 years probably at least! Maybe not all those years at the same employer but I would only really leave if the job was unbearable.

BLS1983 · 10/11/2018 08:17

Negative this morning on day 40. Hubby and I have a day/night off from being mummy and daddy so will make the most of not being pregnant lol x

LondonKez · 10/11/2018 09:02

Sorry @BLS1983, I hope you get an answer either way soon. In the mean time, have a lovely evening with DH! It's nice to have something to look forward to.

I'm 12dpo. Due tomorrow and my temp has dropped dramatically after a very bizzare temp yesterday. Assuming I'm out this month but attaching the last 3 cycles should there be any expert chart readers who might be able to work out what happened this cycle (is my progesterone levels low, or just the weather getting colder?)

LondonKez · 10/11/2018 10:15

Fairly confident I ovulated a day earlier than NC puts me at. Getting a weird cramp I've never had before but fairly certain AF is going to make an appearance today. This has been a pretty strange cycle full of new symptoms. On to cycle 12 💔

ChikiTIKI · 10/11/2018 18:40

I'm sorry to hear that @LondonKez how are you getting on this evening?
I'm still holding out hope for you xxxx

ChikiTIKI · 11/11/2018 08:25

Think I'm 10dpo today... I really want to take a test but not going to let myself :(
The last few days of the TWW I find the hardest :(

Rachael321 · 11/11/2018 09:44

@ChikiTIKI I'm with you on that one!!
I'm 10dpo and the symptom spotting has started!! I have felt totally awful the last 2 days, niggling stomach cramps, backache, exhausted, queasy, headachey!! Trying to convince myself it's a bug or a cold and failing miserably! The temptation to poas is so high. Thankfully I don't have any in the house just now making it easier to wait

Carastarchild · 11/11/2018 11:54

Hi ladies. I just had to take a bit of time out to get over last cycle. My doctor allowed me to go back on cyclogest last cycle to address my luteal phase bleeding. It worked and he now has agreed to allow me to continue it's use until I get a BFP.

Loads and loads of hugs and support for all those struggling with the TWW. Take each day as it comes. That's all any of us can do

Hi @Carastarchild I've missed you. Hope you're feeling well again now xxxx

Think AF might be showing up for me today. Just had a weird brownish red blob thing when I wiped about an hour ago. Nothing since but it's more likely to be AF than anything else I think.

Will know in the next few hours I suppose.

ChikiTIKI · 11/11/2018 16:30

@Rachael321 I would say avoiding early testing is usually a good idea! I would rather wait to test until I am thinking it must be positive xxx

Carastarchild · 11/11/2018 18:35

Chili if it stays brown it seriously could be a sign of implantation! ✨✨✨✨

OP posts:
ChikiTIKI · 11/11/2018 18:49

Thanks @Carastarchild I hope so! I have decided it was brown/pink but not red. Not really had anything since the thick mucusy blob so I am in limbo at the minute. Will see what the night/morning brings. Praying for a miracle xxxx

Carastarchild · 11/11/2018 19:28

Good luck to all those testing in the morning ✨🌟✨

Chiki I too am praying for a miracle. I really hope you get good news in the coming days. Sending you a magical star to make a wish upon 🌟

Thank you @Carastarchild

Just been to the loo and not got any new tmi descriptions to give! Seems odd that there is no more stuff when I wipe... Off to bed now. Will see what happens in the morning.

Rachael321 · 11/11/2018 21:37

Fingers crossed for you @ChikiTIKI
