BBT confusion!

I was really sure I ovulated this month (and, I hope, last month too). Had implant out in May and hadn't realised it would take so long for cycles to become normal. This month and last I've had high and peak clear blue opk results, tying in with bloating and ewcm and a dip in bbt. So I thought, hoorah, we're off!'

However since when I think I ovulated - about 4/5 days ago - my bbt hasn't stayed up, so I'm now worried I didn't ovulate.

I've never experienced cramps or twinges around ovulation.

Anyone able to tell from my bbt chart?

First pic is this month. Second is last month. Green block is fertile window and I thought i ovulated right at the end of it.

I'm pretty new to bbt but how consistent are the times you are temping? I know that can have a big impact on me. If I sleep later, temp is a lot higher, earlier and it's lower. Also, the first month I ovulated after being on the progesterone only pill, for some reason I only got EWCM after ov, not before. If I was looking at your chart I'd guess you ov'd nearer the start of that fertile window! The best bet for guessing will just be whether you get a period 12-17 days after your fertile time - that's what my acupuncture lady told me! Best of luck!

Thanks@daydreamdaisy - I test at 5.30am most days. The only times I wouldn't would be if I wake up within 2 hours before that, as I've read you need 3 hours sleep.
It's confusing because last month my spike was much clearer - but I also had a cold then tonsillitis so who knows how reliable that was.

can I ask what thermometer you use? Mines an Amazon cheapie but honestly none I could find got good reviews.

Hi @RMarieClaire ❤️

I find fertility friend much easier to use when charting your BBT, it will give you cross hairs when you can have ovulated and it just much easier to read xx

Thanks @MeghanV07 - I'm going to switch to Fertility Friend next month. I like the Ovia interface but I'm getting bored of its peppiness! This morning it told me my cold/flu symptoms could be early pregnancy when it seems much more likely I just have a cold!

@RMarieClaire it's so bloody confusing isn't it! I honestly think if you logged that your leg was falling off they'd say it was a pregnancy symptom 😂. Xx
