DTD every other day!

TTC baby #1, on our third month of trying, and around the fertile window (Ovia calculated) we’re on the job every other night. I’m going to be very honest, I’m finding it quite...erm... artificial to be at it this frequently. We’re used to once or twice a week, and already it’s starting to feel a bit programmed. Which it is!

Firstly, does anyone else feel like this, or is it just me??? And if anyone has any tips for keeping things more romantic, I’d be grateful....unless we just accept that we ARE working, rather than playing during conception (as opposed to our usual ‘fun’)

I totally feel like this too. Only advice is to try and make it slightly different each time, positions or time of day etc 🙈

It's bloody hard OP we are doing the SMEP and on our third month tbh it does start of feeling pressured at the start of the month but it's definitely improved our closeness. Only tips I have are different times of the day and places on the house I've also tried the element of surprise so rather than thinking "oh we have to have sex tonight for a baby" I've gone for afternoon surprise delight or morning surprise sex. Helps take the pressure off a bit. Good luck!
