Hi all I’m having real trouble trying to figure out roughly when I conceived. Nothing adds up..
My LMP was 24th July
I took a random test and it was positive on the 6th August.. the following day I started bleeding for a week and by the 11th August it was negative.
I haven’t bled since and did another test on the 6th September and it was positive. My scan on the 16th October showed that I was 9w3d with a strong heartbeat.
I am so confused.. please can someone help!

Firstly, congratulations!

If you were 9 weeks 3 days on the 16th October, that ties in pretty well with the fact that your last bleed started on 7th August (strictly by dates that would make you 9+6 but many people get moved a few days at the scan)

It looks like the positive you got on the 6th August was a chemical, which can have an affect on your cycle. So your LMP was actually 7th August. You will have ovulated on CD17 if I’ve worked it out right.

Unless someone better with maths thinks I’m wrong!?
