Natural cycles app

Have any MN'ers used natural cycles to try and help get pregnant rather than as contraception? Looking for some experiences and reviews.

I have really irregular periods and doctor recommended trying this to pinpoint ovulation as the blood tests they've been doing to check have all come back inconclusive.

Google has lots of good and bad, mainly bad, reviews of the app as contraception but looking for some from the other side. Thanks x

Yes. Currently 9 weeks pregnant after using the app for 4 cycles.
My cycle was regular though but the ovulation prediction was pretty much spot on with OPK tests. Also used the Ava bracelet.

@Floofsquidge AVA bracelet is slightly out of my price range unfortunately so hopefully will have some luck with natural cycles. Did you only use OPKS on your predicted fertile days or every day throughout your cycle?

I used clear blue opk tests which give you instructions which day to start testing based on your average cycle length -eg for me 27 day cycle started testing day 7, usually ov'd between day 14-16. They're not cheap either but I never used all the tests on one cycle so you can use again the text month. We were trying for 6 months before using natural cycles and opk's.
39 when we stopped contraception so couldn't mess about.

Also with NC you can input opk results and it adjusts the algorithm based on that and your temps.
