Luteal phase spotting

Hi all, sorry if TMI and I know we haven’t been trying long, but I’ve had my implant out for 6 months, regular periods for the last 4, and every time I get pink / brown discharge for 3-5 days before AF arrives. I haven’t started charting or using opk’s yet as I’m trying to be chilled about ttc and not put pressure on us but I never had any spotting before and wondering if I should go see my GP or wait till it’s been 1 year.

I used to have this, it turns out I had vitamin B12 deficiency and it stopped after I started getting injections of B12. Not sure how it affects TTC.

Not sure I’m much help but I have experienced the same thing since coming off the pill (never had spotting before). I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis which could explain mine but equally it might not be. And I’m definitely not saying that you have it. I think there can be various reasons for spotting. I’ve also heard it might be progesterone deficiency. To be honest I’m thinking it might also just be hormones still settling down after birth control.
Only difference I’ve noticed so far is that I started some supplements last cycle (vit B complex, vit c, magnesium and zinc) and my spotting went from 4/5days to just the day before AF turned up.

Ps I suppose I could be the same as Evie’s comment above since I’ve started taking vit B complex.

I had this combined with a short luteal phase but it didn’t cause me any issues conceiving, giving birth seemed to reset my body and the spotting stopped after my first pregnancy

Thank you everyone for your replies. I made an appointment to see my GP, then got a BFP on Saturday!
I’m putting it down to implantation bleeding this time but still not sure what was going on the last couple of cycles. May get my B12 levels checked anyway though.
