How do you relax???

Hi
I'm sick of hearing "just relax, it'll happen". How do you relax??? Even if i were to stop using opks, I get ovulation pains so I'd still know when I ovulate so I'd still be thinking we need to dtd. Has anyone found a way to actually relax and stop fretting???

No..... would love to hear some tips too 🤭 I’m one big anxious stress ball which probably doesn’t help.

@Brumbrum05 @Babycakes1989 with my first pregnancy I just found things to do for example occupying myself with other things and fell pregnancy the first try but sadly had a missed miscarriage at 3months in April and now I really want a baby and I'm trying to not think about it and start occupying myself with other things. I gave this advice to my friend who was trying for a year and she started occupying herself with other things and fell pregnancy straight away the next month

Nope, its always on my mind.
I genuinely don't believe it's down to relaxing, for years women have been desperate to conceive & they do. Last month I was chilled than ever and nothing...
I think as long as you keep living, so enjoy socialising, holidays etc then you can still really want a baby and think about it a lot!
I wouldn't say I'm stressed, but my thoughts are dominated a lot by getting pregnant. If relaxing is not thinking about getting pregnant well I'm stuffed lol!

I feel like my life's on hold. Don't book a holiday just in case, don't plan to go on a hen night after ovulation....

I totally understand you girls as I'm in the same boat and it's even harder when you've missed a period like me right now and don't know what's going on I did a pregnancy test it's negative so then I'm just like can my period start so I can ovulate and try again it's very hard to do either

No idea!
But keep accepting dates/activities without looking at the calendar.
My approach was we just need to up the sex all the time - not just in ovulation week so it was less obvious to DP even if I clearly knew my own cycle.
But i still knew and was never able to fully achieve the 'relax'...

Pass, I have a busy job so that’s helps but still on knicker watch for the past 3 months, made it to cd25 now and have lots of watery wet feelings for the past 4 days, scared to test. Trying to wait out to weekend but I honestly don’t know how you can get it off your mind other than sleep hehe
