@Crossfitgirl Trust me, I have daydreamed about so much baby related stuff and had loads of cute ideas for how to tell DH but it all went out the window today. I was rushing around trying to carve a pumpkin and stabbing myself in the finger because it was getting dark and I knew the little ones would be knocking soon and so I had no time to really prepare, plus I'm still not 100% believing I'm pregnant (God that sounds weird)... so I hid the test up my sleeve and waited for him to come home. I then gave him a hug and kiss as usual and then sort of just whipped it out in front of him and smiled at him and then he started beaming and saying "no! no!? NO!?" in a disbelieving way and then he gave me a big hug and we started talking about how unreal it all feels.

I actually told my mum today too because we're super close and she conveniently popped round just after I had taken the second lot of tests. It was kinda hilarious because I showed her a test and she had no clue what it meant because apparently they didn't have them back in her day! She was all like "what does that mean?" and "when I was pregnant we had to miss two periods before the doctor would even see us!" I explained things and told her not to get too excited yet etc.

As for telling anyone else, we'll tell DH family at NY when we celebrate with them which should be 12-13 weeks and hopefully will have a scan photo to give them. I'm kinda nervous for telling my brother and SIL as they have had no luck conceiving for 3 years and hope they won't be mad. He's my older brother so I always expected he would be giving my mum the first grandkid.

Oh and to answer someones question from earlier about anything new/different I had been doing this cycle. I was taking those orange flavour chewable multivitamins (will stop taking now that I realise that they have vitamin A in which is not good for pregnancy apparently) and having LOADS of sex, 8 days in a row over fertile window / 14 times over the past 3 weeks. Hope this helps!

Symptoms:

• feeling bloated a lot
• sensitive nipples for a couple of days about a week ago
• feeling hungry a lot especially these past few days
• having a weird feeling, like very very weak nausea?

You watch, now I've written all this I'll get AF...

@mrsof20118 no Hun. But I'll take a digital the day or after my periods due as that's what I did before. :) I'm unwell so haven't been out much last two days x x

Am feeling like crap today, temps are still up, boobs still sore and I feel like I've swallowed a stone right now. No sign of AF at all. Amazon should be delivering some FRERs today so will hopefully know for sure soon!

AF reared her ugly head at 5am this morning along with the most painful cramping I've ever had! Thankfully that's subsided a bit now, but I'm still a bit sad that AF is here!

@MrsR16 I've literally never peed on so many sticks in two days haha. It's because they're cheap I'm not bothered! Sorry AF is here hun. Cramping seems worse to when you really didn't want her to show up xxx

@Delilah7 I see a line! I don't think all 3 would say positive if you weren't! I'd wait a few days and get an FRER/more sensitive test - that's my plan!
