Hi lovely ladies. Hoping I can jump in here!

My first ever post after reading a million threads on here since January.

I'm 27
Cycle 11 (AF arrived this morning. Don't you hate CD1 )

I can't believe there are just 2 more chances of a BFP until the year is out. So hard to stay positive so I'm reaching out as no one around me is ttc and no one gets this heart wrenching feeling every time AF turns ups.

All family and friends around me all managed to convince within just a couple of months and I thought I would too (as we all do!)

I even googled "how to stop feeling broody" the other day haha. Oh help me!

Any advice for a struggling mumma wanna be?

@sullywifey welcome, you’re in good company here, we’re all in the same boat. Unfortunately no advice but just wanted you to know we all feel the same, so you’re not alone x

@SullyWifey Welcome! Aww shame about CD1 but onward and upwards to the next cycle!

@FlapJackered I know we said we were gonna stop each other from testing early... but I may have just bought a couple of tests "just in case they're needed" Are yours hidden away yet? :P

Just feeling down today, but next week when AF has gone I start getting all positive and excited again as I feel like I'm back on the horse (so to speak haha)

This has been the first month I haven't tested early and think I'm going to try and not do that anymore, (remind me I said that won't you?!) it's just so expensive and disappointing. So going to try and make myself put the money in a Christmas jar rather than boots tills!

Anyone else been using Natural Cycles?

@sullywifey I’m exactly the same. The initial day of AF and day after I’m always so upset but then I’m like right let’s do it this month and get on it. And I just put a new plan together and focus on it. I’m due tomorrow and know it’s on the way as the cramps have started, so feel your pain. I’ve stopped having tests in the house so I don’t get tempted. The BFN is more disappointing then AF rearing her head for me. I’m on natural cycles too 😊 xx

@sunshine1987 as awful as I know the feeling is, so good to hear I'm not the only one! So easy to get caught up in your own head if you don't talk about it. God knows how women dealt with all this before social media!

Yes I agree, I have even done a test on the first day of period as I thought it could be implantation bleeding, it was that day I was like, right no more!!!

We have very similar cycle start, mine is usually like clockwork every 31 days. I do like natural cycles but had stopped tempting so religiously last couple of months and just doing OPKs. However as of tomorrow I'm going to try temping again just as a new game plan to focus on!xx

@charm23 @flapjackered @Delilah7 I am also due end of next week so will join you on the testing next weekend! And NO early tests, I'm not having any of you with that disappointment and uncertainty, we shall be strong and test when it's accurate! Come on now, are you in?

Welcome @sullywifey yes it's so hard when everyone you know seems to just look at their OH and bingo, baby made. But in reality, it takes a lot of people a lot longer too, most of my friends well over 6 months up to 2 years, so maybe you're somewhere in the middle :-) you're definitely in the right place!

@sunshine1987 that made me laugh so much!!

@flapjackered it's gone up a tad, at the moment I'm taking the second small rise as ovulation so fingers crossed it stays up and it's not been an annovulatory cycle! My blood test this morning should reveal all anyway hopefully. Here's my chart, the 20th and 21st Oct was when I was away in London and ill, so I think that caused the mad rise in the middle. I'm also not quite sure about my thermometer... I might invest in the natural cycles one. Is that the one you have? X

@Charm23 i am going to get DH to hide the tests tomorrow. We are now getting to the dangerous 2nd week of the tww and the overwhelming urge to poas at all opportunities! 😫

@Crossfitgirl fingers crossed that's your second rise there. Hopefully tomorrow's temp will clear things up! Yes I have got the natural cycles one and I really like it. I have had no problems with it in any case.

@Crossfitgirl I know right, literally everyone around me is acting like fertility is just something that can happen as easy as 1 2 3. Lets hope your right and I'm somewhere in between!
I have used natural cycles since the beginning and it is the only one I use, but always seems to be dead on for me! Pretty sure I have a referral code for discount if you end up thinking about it! xx

@flapjackered I am due AF next Saturday and so is @delilah7... what about you and @charm23?

Although originally I was due Thursday til I ovulated late and flo changed it... I'll only be about 9dpo on Friday if I'm gonna go with my temp rise as ov, so I will probably wait until Saturday. Even 10dpo is pushing it for a FRER to be accurate :-( bloody short LP!

@Delilah7 @Crossfitgirl @FlapJackered Ooooh surely with all four us there's got to be some good luck between us? Ovia is saying AF due on 1st Nov and to test then. AF often varies by a couple days either side so I think I'll see how things go nearer the time. DH and I are going away to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary that weekend so will either test on 1st before we go or 5th when we're back - if you ladies are testing sooner rather than later then I'll probably follow suit . Come on ladies we got this!!

Is it too early to get a positive at 11DPO? Asking for a friend who might have crumbled and used a one step test........🙄

@Charm23 @Crossfitgirl I am due on 1st Nov too, so was thinking I would test on the 2nd if AF hasn't arrived. I will see how I go with it but won't test before 2nd this time as I hate bfn's!!

@sullywifey ooh yes please! I dropped my thermometer and it all came apart and I haven't trusted it since lol.

If I've missed loads of posts while typing this, i started writing ages ago and got distracted haha x

@sunshine1987 you're not out til AF comes, 11dpo can still be false negative. Plus I don't think the one steps are that sensitive.... Have faith!

Since @flapjackered and @charm23 you are both due on the same day, How about you guys test Friday, and @delilah7 we can both test on Saturday when we're both due? I'm a bit worried Sat will still be too early for me as it's only gonna be like 10dpo... but if i do get to Saturday with no AF, it'll be my longest cycle since coming off the pill by a good 2 days. I can get a FRER specially 😁

@mrsr16 yeah I’m gonna wait until Sunday before testing again if AF hasn’t arrived (who am I kidding probs test tomorrow too......)

@mrsr16 I do have one FR in the house though so I dunno, I might try that tomorrow. Ive never been late before and my temp is high still so unless that drops I might use that x
