Hi,
I came off my pill December 2017 and we have been trying ever since. Just wondering if it is normal to take this long? To begin with we just said it will happen when it happens but now we are beginning to wonder if it will ever happen! So hard not to be disappointed each month when you want something so much.

Have you been properly trying for that full period of time ? Or for the first few months did you just dtd whenever you felt like it ? It's normal for healthy couples to take up to a year to conceive, if you go to see your gp for advice I think they say you have to be trying for 12 months before they'd look into anything ? I'm not 100% sure though but that's what I've heard.

Are you using OPKs, temping , using an app?

Also they do say it can take months for the pill to completely be out of your system x

Yes been properly trying & using OPKs, app etc. Yes I have heard the same so may go in the new year to GP if still no luck x
