Bupa medical cover for fertility investigations

Hi all,

I’ve just been to my gp as ttc #2 with no luck for over 12 months (including early miscarriage 7 months ago). She was lovely and has written a referral to a private gynaecologist for me.

I have Bupa medical insurance through work and wanted to know if anyone has successfully claimed for diagnostic tests? I know they don’t cover fertility treatment but it looks like I might get some of the tests under my cover. I’ve found some old posts on here that talk about Bupa but nothing recent.

Would like to know about others experiences if possible before I call them!

Thanks

I'd also love to know this!

Called them and they don’t cover me. Didn’t mention fertility testing as said it was for pcos investigations but that wasn’t covered either! Worth a try though I suppose.
