Really confused. Am I hoping to hard or is this the real deal.

So I am actively ttc. I had my period but it was strange. Not normal for me. It started om the 4th of September. Really light no cramping. The next day I was very heavy. Then for the following 2 days it got lighter. I usually bleed for 5. It ended on the 6th. Today's is the 8th day of my cycle. Today and yesterday I've had very light cramping. Feeling a little sick. Lack of appetite and a little back ache. It also feels quite tingly in my lower abdomen. Today was horrendous. I've slept most of the day and I feel like I've had no sleep whatsoever. Also felt really weak and heavy headed. I just wondered if anyone else has had this happen to them then got a bfp. I've been feeling quite tired for the last few days. I'm just hoping I am but don't know if its too soon to be pregnant 8 days after having a period.

Also this is the 2 month of ttc

You wouldn't feel pregnant 8 days after a normal period but if the last one was odd it is possible that you got pregnant the cycle before, have you tested?

It is also possible that it is your mind, it has a powerful effect on the body and in particular our cycles at times.

Yes my last period in September was the same as this just not heavy. I was 2 days late in September and tested. I got a negative. I didn't thi k I'd be able to feel pregnant so soon If I was. Could have been ovulation? Even though it radiated in the middle and not on one side so to speak. This should be my fertile week with me releasing an egg on the 20th
