Late period, negative test

Hi ladies,

My period was suppose to start 13/10 and I still haven't started I did a pregnancy test last night and it was negative. I have been experiencing cramping since 01/10 and I have had quite a bit of discharge but no smell. I thought I was going to start my period yesterday as I had quite a bit of cramping yesterday and I haven't ...

Has anybody experienced something similar ??

Me too, period due yesterday but nothing and bfn. Think I ovulated late so might be due today/tomoro instead and will retest if. I sign. Good luck x

Got my period today. Most odd timing as I’m usually spot on every month. Feel slightly embarrassed about the 4 tests I took only our first cycle tho so I let myself be sad for 5 mins and looking forward to the month ahead. How are you?

@kashleesi awwww it will happen girl !! Keep trying like you said it's your first cycle it will hopefully happen very soon fingers crossed !! ... I still have nothing but I did a test today still came back negative and I feel like I'm going to start my period tonight or tomorrow I just hope I am pregnant fingers crossed .. if I don't start tomorrow then there is defo a possibility that I am pregnant

@nilly12345 you're not a bad person at all. I think it's totally normal to feel that way, although it may be hard for other people to understand that. However don't worry at all about your OH being involved with your SIL's pregnancy. Hearing the heartbeat of your baby will be a different thing entirely, and incomparable. Hope it happens for you soon.

@kashleesi I also had a little rage about this! Assuming she wasn't trying before the wedding we started trying at the same time and she's already 3 months pregnant. Ever feel like they know something we don't!?

With my first I had 2 negatives before finally getting a positive on day 7 after my period was due.
I’m now 5 days late and still testing negative. I’m hoping in 2 days I’ll get a positive!

In the same boat over here!!!

I was due the 13th and still no sign of it! Have tested this evening on a frer and definitely a BFN. Just kinda want AF to arrive so I am no longer in limbo. I'm usually spot on so I think my body is delaying it on purpose because this whole process has taken over my mind!

@notabumpjusttoomanybiscuits I feel the same way because I'm thinking about having a baby j feel like my AF is being delayed due to me over thinking but if anything doesn't start tomorrow then I think I may start thinking positive and may have conceived. I have really sore sensitive breast which I don't usually have but again i may just be over thinking and making my self have these pregnancy symptoms

@HereForTheEyeLines no news yet I if I don't start by today I'm going to do a test at the end of the week and see what happens .. I will defo keep everyone up to date on what's happening, it's so weird I woke up feeling really nauseous this morning and still have the little cramping I also realised I have this discharge but there is no smell to it

Hi all I have been having shorter cycles since coming off pill in July only 23/24 days, I am currently on cycle day 25 11 days post ov. I though af was coming on for the past 4 days but just feel ‘wet down there’ with a full cramp that’s just lifted, other than that emotional but no other symptoms. Currently on knicker watch.. don’t want to speak too soon but not even a skid mark. let me know how you all get on, scared to test, anyone else been wet and got a bfp in the end ?

@nilly12345 we're definitely on the same page. I have been so bad for symptom watching so I feel like my body is just doing it on purpose. Most weird symptom for me is usually before my period my boobs are soooooooo heavy and painful but this month I've had no aches.

@TwinkleDay same!! Earlier today I had that "wet" feeling but nah nothing!!! Just want it to come to start the next cycle 😞

Very confusing then isn’t it, I have heard some symptoms don’t kick in until later in if your pregnant, 4 days of a wet feeling though isn’t normal for me. It’s odd.

When are you all looking to test ?

@notabumpjusttoomanybiscuits I usually don't have sore boobies but I have this time around but I feel like I will be starting my period today I have a funny feeling it's a false alarm but I just hope it isn't as my cycles are usually 26-29 days this time around I'm on cuddle day 34 ??

@TwinkleDay I am going to wait today and if I don't have anything by the end of the week I am going to test at the end of the week again I think I'm just thinking and that's making my period delayed maybe and causing me these 'pregnancy symptoms'

@notabumpjusttoomanybiscuits started my period today so I guess I'll have to try next month it's so stressful I just want to have a baby I know it sounds childish but I get excited and then my period starts and the upset happens again

Oh I'm sorry to hear AF arrived @nilly12345 😔 I understand what you mean though! Just starting the whole thing again is painful but at least you know where you are and puts your mind at rest?

No AF yet. I was in an horrendous mood yesterday so thought it was going to come but nope. Going to wait it out over the weekend.

Sweet baby Jesus, couldn’t sleep went to bed at 9.30 oh here at 11 tossing and turning until 2.30am and we did it then, think I only had a couple of hours sleep, first one ever! Good luck everyone else testing xxx
