Hi we are looking to do self insemination but are not sure if you need tubing, or if sterile cups and a 10ml syringe are sufficient. Any tips would be most helpful.

I've got 10ml syringes. I did get some sterile pots from Amazon but they were too small for DH to aim into Confused I gave him a small Tupperware pot, which I wash in boiling water first.

Once I have his "deposit" I put it in the syringe quite quickly, but then let it stand upright for 5 mins or so. It's very bubbly to begin with, but then that dissipates a bit so you can slowly push the air out, whilst the syringe is still upright.

I then lie down with a couple of pillows under my hips and whack on a bit of preseed. Insert & slowly push the plunger. I leave the syringe in for a bit, and stay lying down for about half an hour.

We're still perfecting it, so interested if anyone else has anything to add.

Fx for you x
