Menopur - not enough in the bottle - only 225 not 300??

Hi,

I am on day of 300 menopur injections, and I don't have enough in the bottle for one of my syringes, it only pulled out 225.

I had a batch for the remaining days so I used that and called the private hospital, I said shall I get some more he said nobody will be there its the weekend, just take the smaller dose on Sunday, I am back in for a scan Monday morning.

Is this bad? Won't this make a big difference taking 225 instead of 300?? He didn't seem worried but is that because its the weekend and he can't be bothered to go in, also, shouldn't there be someone there the whole time checking any embryos??

Help, this is stressing me out

Please don’t panic. If you can’t get any until Monday then you don’t really have a choice. I’m sure that if it was a huge problem the guy you spoke to would have been more concerned...
Perhaps it might make a difference - perhaps egg collection will be a day later than foreseen, but maybe that day might give your follicles another day to mature? Try to relax, although I know that IVF can be so very tough. If you don’t have an option then it is fruitless to worry.
