Ovulation and conception

Hi all, i have got a positive OPK tonight but dtd wednesday night. By saturday assuming thats the 24 hour ovulation. Will i have missed the opportunity? Can sperm live approx 3/4 days? Also what are the chances of conception? Thanks

Today will be approx 48 hours since dtd so tomorrow night will be 72 hours?

That's probably quite good timing. It does take sperm about 12-24 hours to get to the Fallopian tubes. They can live up to five days.

In an ideal world for conception you would also Dtd tonight.

Thanks for reply physicskate no chance of tonight. I suppose its just the waiting game now. I just kept reading conflicting information some sites say 2 days is the longest because of sperm life and some say they survive upto 5 days.

Yes I'd definitely think there's a chance just from that dtd ! Like pp says sperm can live up to 5 days. Good luck!

Thanks guys have EWCM at the moment. No sign of dtd today either. I hope im not too late.
