Bfp - line not as strong following day? Help!

Tested yesterday at 12dpo with a frer and got what I think is a positive test, tested with fmu.

Tested this morning at about 6am with fmu again and I can still see a line but it's not as strong as yesterday's?

Anyone any experience with this - I'm freaking out! Trying not to get ahead of myself but now fearing the worst. Anyone have this and it turned out okay? x

I tried to attach photos but it says I've reached maximum amount of photos I can upload today even though I've not uploaded any

I had a squinter which I thought might be a positive yesterday then nothing this morning. I think my wee was a bit more dilute this morning but no idea tbh, just posting in solidarity!

@KinCat It's so frustrating! I can still see the line (wish it would let me upload a photo!!!), but it's definitely a little fainter than yesterday's. I've sworn myself not to test again till tomorrow or Sunday, but I'm dying to retest.

Don’t forget that FRERs darken a bit as they dry so if you’re looking at them side by side today it’s not really a fair comparison. Levels double in 48 hrs so testing 24 hrs apart (with varying levels of hydration) won’t necessarily show a massive difference. Try again tomorrow!

Oh that's good you can still see the line! I wouldn't worry too much the different line strength over one day - HCG will take a couple of days to double plus your urine dilution is probably not exactly the same.

I bought/did a test at lunchtime after drinking about a litre of water and an iced tea and was then disappointed when it was negative 😂

Thanks @MrsMogginsMinge you have a very fair point. Just panicking as I had a mc at nearly 6 weeks this time last year but everything seems polar opposite this time round in terms of symptoms and test results.
Will test tomorrow or Sunday 🤞🏻

So, took another test this morning with fmu and line is fainter again. Top test n pictures is yesterday's and bottom is today's (both with fmu)

Is this a chemical? Anyone with any experience of this?

Ah shit, that does seem v similar to chemical pregnancies I’ve had. I think I might even have had a thread under this name in similar circs. You’re not out until AF shows but to be brutally honest I’d brace myself for it at this point

Sorry mate. It sucks. If it’s any consolation at all, I also had a miscarriage at 7 weeks last year and a v similar chemical at the start of this year which in retrospect was a sign of my body doing the right things but waiting for the right egg - I got a good strong BFP one or two months later and now I’m in my third trimester. So, you know, keep the faith and have a lovely big drink
