Waiting to Ovulate after a Chemical - starting to feel really anxious

I had a chemical last month and I’m now waiting to Ovulate again. I’m becoming obsessed and really anxious over it. I desperately want to be pregnant again. I’m doing 3 OPKs a day - I’m stressing over missing it!! I also worry that if I drink too much I might not get my surge on the OPK but also thinking I should drink more so I get good EWCM. I know I need to chill out massively! Please tell me I am not alone in this - or maybe I am just being too OTT about the whole thing. Arghhhhhh

Maybe the temp thing is true and just doesn't sit in the norm post chemical.
@LunaLG what app are you using? The chart looks so pretty!

@mrsof20118 ok I feel more at ease now that we are all seeing slightly unusual patterns! Mine has shot through the roof this morning.

I'm using Natural Cycles. It got to 9 months ttc and wanted to start charting but didn't have a thermometer so bought this app package for like £30 but to be honest - as long as you have a good thermometer and know what to look for, Ovia is as good. Natural Cycles just holds your hand a bit more when you're learning what the hell BBT is! But it doesn't communicate with you as much as I'd like for the price tag. At least I have a good thermometer now though.

Hi girls. I'm not much use on the temping and charting - never did it - I never liked graphs at school haha. So I think I feared having to do it. But I do think things can be a bit odd after a CP so just DTD when you can and see what happens.

I am still pregnant :-) but no symptoms still (but I've always been like that in the passed). I'm 3 weeks 4days since conception. I did another CB digital this morning and it still says I'm 2-3weeks so naturally im freaking out that my HCG levels aren't going up at the rate they are supposed to. My booking in appointment is on 4th Nov and I booked a private viability scan on 11 nov so just hoping I get to that point and all is ok.

@Newbie21 stop testing those digital test will only drive you mad. Stay positive and enjoy it if you can.

Ladies I really need your help! I’ve attached my chart. It looks like I have already ovulated and I had a positive OPK on Tuesday but I just did another OPK today and it’s positive again. What on Earth is going on. I’m so confused

@Holly5633 looks like you ovulated around the 15th according to the chart? Could it be implantation?! I've no idea! X

@Newbie21 3 weeks 4 days would put you around 5 weeks do the clear blue digital would still be accurate. Their range is quite wide I think. 4th isn't too far to go but know it will feel like ages. Xx

Thanks for the encouraging words. You are right... no more testing. I'll hold out for scan on 11th. I'll ask midwife if she is able to check for heartbeat on 4th but not sure she will a it's only a booking in meeting.

My cycle has just gone completely haywire. I’m wondering if I won’t Ovulate this month. I’ve had cramping every day for a week. I had crosshairs to confirm ovulation on CD17 but my temp dropped today and I got ANOTHER positive OPK so Feetikjty Friend says I haven’t ovulated yet. It’s exhausting

Hi can I join please. I had a chemical last cycle now I'm on CD5 and hoping to ovulate on my usual CD14 as DH is away with work from CD15-17.

Holly5633 why do you have the open circle today? Your temps really look like you could have ovulated on CD15 but yeah the CM and OPKs don't agree. I'd see what your temps do tomorrow - if it bounces back up I'd think you've ovulated, if it stays low maybe not yet. Super frustrating for you.

Holly5633 yeah it does suck. I never got a very strong line and I got my line super early so I was never very positive but you still wish and hope for the best.

I hope it's true what I've read that you're super fertile after a chemical or miscarriage.

Now 7 days into the TWW. Gosh it drags! How is everyone else getting on? X

I know it is soooo slow - I also have absolutely no idea when I ovulated so who knows what DPO I am!! Just waiting for af now. God it drags!

I know I'm sort of guessing too! It's getting increasingly harder to dodge alcohol in public as well!

I had a very short luteal phase so out for October. Now on cycle day 3. These first two weeks go a lot quicker than the last! If and when will you be testing?! X

Hi @mrsof20118 hopefully this will be a normal cycle for you. If I get that far I'll test 2 weeks from when I think I ovulated. My luteal phase is often only 11 days so if I make it to 14 days it'll be worth testing. X

@TooInquisitive hopefully the weekdays will whizz by if you are working? Told other half we are doing SMEP this cycle to give it the best shot. X

Good luck @mrsof20118! Just got a BFP today. LP normally only 11 days so should be due today but of course with messed up timings post chemical I could be testing a few days early. Fingers crossed it sticks this time. Last time I got BFPs on a few tests but never on a Waitrose. Think I might try a Waitrose in a day or two and see x
