Hi! I've been an avid reader of MN for years but I'm not sure I've ever posted anything.
My fiancé and I are TTC quite young for personal issues with ourselves and within our families, ie. his side have shorter life expectancies than the average person, and my side have a long history of developing cancer alongside some other life threatening illnesses.
I am 22 and he is 23 and are both mentally and physically ready to have children, and are both family orientated people. While we might not be 100% where we would like to be financially, we do have great support systems and also don't really believe that that in itself should be a reason to not try, especially feeling like we're running out of time (already)!
Does anybody have any advice for us as young parents, or as young people TTC, or even as people TTC with time being such a major concern?
