Can an evap appear after only 20 minutes? (Pic)

I took a pregnancy test earlier this evening (definitely not ttc, just feel a bit dodgy).
It appeared negative and I carried on with my evening. 20 minutes later I looked again, and noticed a line 😳.

I took a second test (pictured right), and timed the actual recommended 3 minutes. This is how it looked after that time period.

I am seriously panicking- what are your collective thoughts?

The test will say on it within how many minutes it needs to be read. All the ones I’ve used have been 10 minutes.
Any line that appears outside that time is meaningless.

Thank you Dame. That's reassuring 😊

Hiya @opalescent both tests look positive to me, but very early. Really sorry if this isn't the result that you want. Wait a few more days or get a first response early result test before you start to panic. Good luck, hope you get the outcome you want x

I agree with above, both look positive to me. Definitely get first response test and test again.

RLOU30 · 10/10/2018 21:39

Both look positive to me too. Evaps are usually grey and appear when the test is dry normally, which would in most cases take longer than 20 mins x

Oh blimey...

I would say they are both positive. Even the test left for 3 minutes has a visible line.

Good luck

Both look BFP to me too. Hugs

Early positives

Maybe because it's on my phone or I'm going blind, but I can't see a line on the one on the right. And I wouldn't trust the 30 min one.

Test again for the correct time with morning urine.

Thanks all. I have a job interview today, so can't think about it right now. I'll do a first response tomorrow morning and take it from there.
