Hello
I am totally new to the site but hoping some of you lovely ladies may be able to share your experiences. I conceived my son (currently 3 years old) on our first attempt at the age of 37 (38 when he was born). I fell pregnant again fairly quickly before Christmas but sadly miscarried in early January. As part of our attempts since and as I’m older (41 this week!) I had my AMH level taken this week which came back at 49. I am aware that this may indicate PCOS which I have had a history of quite some time ago. Just wondering if anybody else has received a similar result and if so what the outcome was. I think next step may be an ultrasound scan to confirm one way or another. Not sure whether to place a huge amount of faith in AMH result as know of a significant number of people who have gone on to conceive despite a low result but have never encountered somebody with a higher one.
Thank you.
