If you thought the October bus was early, wait until you see NOVEMBER

AF arrived this morning FIVE DAYS LATE so I've decided to start an unreasonably early November bus.

There's a chance I could conceive in October but the TWW will fall into November.

So here we go:
TTC: #1
Cycle: 2
Age: 26

My cycles tend to be 28 days but this one was 33, which is going to mess around with my app, no doubt.

Tested again this morning. WHY?? Still bfn. Hurry up AF. How is everyone else doing this morning?

Nell90x · 22/10/2018 09:02

I hope you get AF soon @cheesemumma!
Got my static smiley this morning 😄 so about to enter my TWW. Don't want to test early this time... nearly drove myself crazy poas every other day last cycle. Caused so much stress!

Frillyfarmer · 22/10/2018 09:17

I’ll join tentatively, Im fairly sure DH is away when I’m ovulating this month 😩

Cycle#2
Age: 28
AF due 12th November

PaintingOwls · 22/10/2018 16:39

Welcome Frilly!

I've just found some EWCM. We DTD last night and were going to tomorrow, but now I think we should tonight as well. Fingers crossed that DP hasn't had a hard day and is feeling up to it!

MrsNK · 22/10/2018 16:45

Hope everyone is well and that November is a lucky month for us all!! 🤞🏼 I’m in my TWW and trying to stay sane! AF due 2nd Nov

Whatdoingmummy · 22/10/2018 21:29

@paintingOwls Almost 3 years, it's so frustrating because DP works away mon-Fri which doesn't help. DP got tested last year, his results weren't the best, but not all bad. They've referred him to be tested again to get some sort of average.
This will be my first investigation, we're desperate for answers but I'm nervous to hear them- does that make sense?

PaintingOwls · 22/10/2018 21:44

Absolutely Whatdoingmummy it's almost as if it's not true if you're not aware of it? I had to have some genetic testing done before we started TTC and I was sick with nerves at my appointment. Everything was fine, but I remember thinking more than once that I wasn't sure that I wanted to know!

TTC#1
Cycle#5
Age: 24
AF due 29th October

Since coming off the pill I have had cycles of 42,36,39, 39. I thought being young it would help but it seems to be taking ages 😩. I am taking pregnacare as well!

Whatdoingmummy · 22/10/2018 22:01

@PaintingOwls Exactly that, if I don't know I don't have to face it. I have so many questions to ask at my next appointment. When the doctor referred me for my bloods he told me we aren't allegable for IVF (seems te be a postcode lottery) due to me having DD, but he didn't mention other options.

However, I'm feeling more positive this month as I ovulated this weekend when DP was home 🎉 so fingers crossed & for you too! It looks like we'll be testing around the same time if AF doesn't beat us to it!

Lauraliverpool · 22/10/2018 22:20

Hope it's ok to hop on 🙂

TTC Number 2
Cycle 3
2nd MMC in June
AF arrived yesterday
Age 37

Thought we might have stood a good chance this month as using clear blue fertility monitor. Think of going for projesterone blood test to check for ovulation. Xx

cheesemumma · 23/10/2018 20:10

@whatdoingmummy it sounds like a tough time and Uber frustrating if you've been waiting 3 years. Fingers crossed for this month but at least you have a doctor you can ask all your questions to and hopefully start to get some answers. My DH works nights so I know it's tricky to find yourselves in bed at the same time!!!

Still no AF for me.

cheesemumma · 23/10/2018 20:11

@paintingOwls I suppose you are into the dreaded tww now?

PaintingOwls · 23/10/2018 21:32

I think so, cheesemumma. According to my app, AF is due on 8th November, but I had EWCM yesterday and today morning, so I suspect ovulation is happening right now or tomorrow morning. DTD on Sunday, so I'm hoping that was enough!

I know it's too early for any kind of symptom spotting, but every twinge I get I think ooh is that it?!

bojtogether · 23/10/2018 23:32

Hope this is ok on this thread.
First time TTC don't really have much of a clue what I'm doing. This will be my first cycle. Atm I'm only following an app to track periods and estimated ovulation (dunno how reliable this method is)
Are there better ways to know for sure when you're ovulating? Any advice would be helpful! The app says I should be ovulating 2nd Nov.

PaintingOwls · 24/10/2018 08:36

bojtogether

OPKs and temperature tracking are better ways, but if you have a regular cycle then the app should be OK. Just DTD every other day in the lead up to ovulation, and then on ovulation on the day itself.

I'm trying not to get involved with accessories yet as this is pretty intense as it is at the moment! If I'm not successful by Christmas I'll invest in an OPK and a basal thermometer.

PaintingOwls · 24/10/2018 14:56

Gosh I'm so bloated today, and I woke up at 3am bursting for a wee.

Not trying to read too much into this, but...Halloween Grin how am I going to make it through the TWW?!

OP posts:
cheesemumma · 24/10/2018 16:14

Haha I'm the same. 'ooo I'm sure my boobs are a little tender', ' I've got a bad headache, I had those with Dd1'.

I poas AGAIN this morning. I've convinced myself I can see a very very very faint line. I've binned it now so I don't sit looking at it for hours.

Monday55 · 24/10/2018 20:50

Are there still spaces on this bus?
28yrs
TTC #1
CD5 AF finished yesterday

I'm calling this cycle #0 because OH is going to be away during my peak ovulation time. But as My AF has been early and late over the months I'm just hoping that might shift my ovulation window.

Meant to ovulate between 30th Oct & 4th November but will only have a chance to DTD on 28th Oct and 1st November.

I'm not a gambler so won't put my money on this cycle.

Im Here to Lurk and support others. I'm Feeling overly optimistic.

@frillyfarmer we seem to be in same boat in terms of OH being away when we need them around.

MrsPuffin · 24/10/2018 21:58

Hello everyone, I haven't told anyone we're actively trying but no luck so far Confused

TTC #1
Cycle 6
Age: 30

Been referred for cycle day 21 tests since we're inconclusive this month (lots of signs suggest pcos). AF arrived on Monday, so hoping November will bring some luck. Baby dust to all! x

lifeoflaura · 24/10/2018 22:45

Hi all, I'm new to all this and not 100% sure what's going on here but I like what appears to be championing and support for TTC!

I'm 33
On cycle who knows of TTC (about 18 months)

Can someone help me out with all the acronyms flying around??

bojtogether · 25/10/2018 00:22

@PaintingOwls
Thanks, it's early days yet I'll take your advice. I have a tendency to obsess so I will just stick to the app for now! Good luck to you this month!

cheesemumma · 25/10/2018 12:26

Hello everyone!!

Still no AF for me! May test again in the morning

cheesemumma · 25/10/2018 18:39

Started AF
Boohoo Sad

MrsPuffin · 25/10/2018 20:50

Sorry to hear that @cheesemumma :( AF caught me on Monday, I cried because the constant baby news around me is getting a bit hard to hear. If I ovulate this cycle I'll be testing around 19th Nov so might be in the 2ww together. Fingers crossed for new cycle!

Monday55 · 25/10/2018 21:19

I'm going to wait for December bus too now..OH is going to be away during my projected November fertile window Haloween Sad
