Hi all , I've been using clearblue opks but switched to internet cheapies but I'm having difficulty reading the results , I've found that the control line lacks a strong amount of dye so don't know if I've bought a dud bundle!

Anyone recommended the cheapies or should I just stick with clearblue?

Ttc#1 cycle 6 and impatient 🤯

How light are we talking ? Can you post a photo ?

I'll attach one of my opks to let you see . I really get on fine with the internet cheapies so maybe just a bad batch. Although I'd agree I do sometimes think the control like doesn't look as dark as it should

Thanks it does! It's still so hard getting to grips with it all! You'd think after 6 months we'd know everything there is to know 😂

OP I found the cheapies really confusing too - started on them and now switched to Clearblue. I agree they're painfully expensive though. Part of me hopes if I buy in bulk Sod's law means we get pregnant :)

The other thing I like about clear blue is that they give you warning when you come into peak fertility. My ovulation doesn't seem to be that reliable and regular, so helpful to know when things begin.

I know that's my thinking too 😂 sometimes it's a fine line between sad and optimistic! I went through a stage of not getting a smiley at first as I was stupidly using fmu, first timer struggles!!

went to the docs , they done a blood test to see if I was ovulating- which is another story as they probably just fobbed me off! However I decided to try one the same day after the docs and got my first smiley -perfect example of Sod's law 😂
