No period and confusing tests

So I’m usually regular as clockwork with my period. I came off the pill a few months ago, due to the horrible cramps etc and to give my body a bit of a break. However, my period was due Wednesday past and still hasn’t arrived. I’ve taken two tests, I’m sure one was positive and the second, a digital one, it was negative. I’m now day 32 of my cycle and confused AF.

Surely I can’t be pregnant but where is my period?!?

When I first came off the pill, I had a normal four week cycle then suddenly went to a 6 week cycle. It can take up to a year for your body to normalise after the pill.

However, it's unlikely you'd get a false positive so you may well be pregnant. The digital ones, unless you specifically get early response, are not sensitive to very early pregnancy.

You aren't a clock - you're a complex biological being. Maybe the pill made your cycles super regular before; who knows!!!

It's very very normal to ovulate late every once in awhile, which will delay af or a positive test result.

Digital aren't very sensitive and are likely to be negative if it's still very early... test again! A false positive is rare, false negatives common!!

Good luck and cut your body some slack - be kind to yourself!!!

Thanks guys. I’m gonna give it another few days, and maybe test again.
