How many times a day to have sex when TTC?

Well the title says it all ..

So guys just wondering what you lot found successful?! We are currently doing the deed every other day and only once as I heard this helps your partners sperm to regenerate between sex.

Has anyone else used this method and been successful? Are we doing it enough?

Hi @Happymum73058 we used the sperm meets egg plan to conceive and fell pregnant in the first month of using the plan! We had been trying for six months before with no luck. It is basically every other day, then when you get a positive opk, three days in a row to cover ovulation, then back to every other day. If you google it there is a website probably explaining a little better than me! Wishing you the best of luck ttc!

I thought once during the fertile phase was enough. Worked for us in the pre ovulation testing kit days.

With my last baby we conceived first month, we didn't have sex every other day during the month, but once I got to my fertile period we had sex about 3 days in a row, only once each day (I kept thinking my lines were positive then the next day it'd be darker again lol)

I think every other day is fine, you are giving yourself lots of chances while not stressing out too much. We only hit my FW once last month and I got a BFP.

I was doing SMEP plan for a few months prior but on the month we conceived we had sex twice each day following my peak fertility and I got my BFP

The month I got pregnant we were on opposite shifts at work and only managed to do it twice during fertile week - once on the day I got a positive OPK and once two days later (which was probably too late anyway).

SMEP is great if you can manage it but please don’t feel under pressure to have loads of sex - it doesn’t massively increase your chances and can put a lot of stress on you both. Once every other day is plenty.
