i will start with i am poas addict now, over last two days i have done 7 tesco tests, all evap lines, 1 answer with evap line, 1 clear blue came up faint positive straight away, went thin so evap line i guess, and very faint evap on pound store tests . i am 41 years old, no idea when AF is due, just panicking.
is it normal to have this many evaps, i do check them after time limit. one had extremely blue but very thin line on it.
i know i am mad for not throwing them out.
i have 4 grown children moved out etc, been single/pretty much celibate for 6yrs. wild crazy few months with a younger man, please dont judge, i know its a mess!
would they all have evap lines.
i am so anxious. i drink as always thirsty (not alcohol) so much my urine is always pale.
i need advice and calming down, anyone who can help i would be grateful.

Why are you so sure they’re evap lines? It sounds like there’s a good chance you are pregnant. Can you use a FRER as you don’t really get Evaps on those

Yakadee · 06/10/2018 21:36

Like previous poster, you may well be pregnant? Maybe get a pink dye test and test again in the morning xx

loulou451 · 06/10/2018 21:49

i keep reading about after time limit, they will be evap lines, i am unsure of dates as haven't kept track of AF for a long long time now, no need to really.
i will try first response, but again i am awake downing water every couple of hours.
had one negative test on a asda one and no evap line.
i am so out of my comfort zone. sorry ladies xx

Photos of tests?

loulou451 · 06/10/2018 22:43

how do i post pics, this is all new to me. i didn't take many. my friend made me rip tests up and throw them as kicked in a panic attack.
do you think i should try to stay away from tests for as long as i can?
i really dont know what to think, im 41 and know sounds silly but scared/confused if honest. sorry i know this isnt therapy lol.

When did you last have unprotected sex?

If I were you I'd wait a week and get a 'pregnant / not pregnant' test so it's spelt out for you. You'll drive yourself loopy with all these tests. And when you take it do a first morning wee and try not to drink to much after midnight the night before.

Good luck

24-28th sept was last few days he was down. so last time would have been around then.
i suffer with severe thirst, but will try my best not to drink anything.
thank you. xx

cadm · 07/10/2018 09:30

No one is mentioning your severe thirst .... sounds like diabetes to me and you probably need to see a GP pretty quickly !

lost451 · 07/10/2018 14:43

diabetic has been ruled out. i will just have to wait and see what happens i guess.

lost451 · 13/10/2018 08:14

lost451 · 13/10/2018 08:16

pic from last night. are they all evap lines? i am so confused as had early response but was a greyish line. if i was surely another test would pick it up too?

plz help me...
MadeInCornwallx3 · 13/10/2018 10:16

I would say they are all positive!

ShutTheFridgeUp · 13/10/2018 10:20

Are they Tesco tests? I had loads like that and wasn't pregnant.

lost451 · 13/10/2018 10:41

top one of the 4 is numark own brand rest are all tesco. i have heard tesco ones are bad. all the rest first response etc have been negative. i have been so worried, tesco shouldn't be able to sell them.

Beautifulblue · 13/10/2018 10:57

I had so many false positives from Tesco tests a few months ago Sad

ThursdaysChildHasFarToGo · 13/10/2018 17:25

Looks positive to me!

WinterBerry7 · 13/10/2018 17:29

As a PP has said, why don’t you get a digital one so you get a clear pregnant/not pregnant result? Would put your mind at ease either way.

lost451 · 13/10/2018 18:12

i am convinced blue dye ones are awful. if i was and.it was faint on blue ones, i would have thought the pink dye one would be positive too. i just get like a grey line on first response. i will give it a week and will get digital on payday. i wish i kept track of AF. thank you everyone
.will keep you updated, if i am not pregnant, may help someone who has done these tests in future.

Unicorn234 · 13/10/2018 22:17

They all look very promising to me! 🎉 get a digital clear blue test, it's amazing seeing the word 'PREGNANT' in front of your face 😂 xx
