BFP after three chemicals...?

Hi ladies! I've just got a BFP on 11dpo - tentatively excited BUT I've had 3 chemicals in the 11 cycles we've been TTC. I do have cramping and some brown spotting though. AF would usually be due in 2 days and it does feel like she's on the way.

However - my previous BFPs were all fainter lines than this one and didn't appear til later in the cycle. So I'm hoping this might be a stronger one....

Can anyone give me their experiences about getting pregnant after several CPs? Anyone have cramps/spotting but still make it through? Thanks so much in advance xxx

Hi, I don't have experience of this but didn't want to leave you hanging.

I can say that before I got my bfp I had a feeling af was coming. Those stomach cramps / aches continued for several weeks.

Unfortunately I guess only time will tell you for sure. I really do hope this is it for you, sounds promising x

Hi - just want to say I also have had had many chemicals and the one thing in common was they all started off faint (certainly not as dark as that lovely strong line you have there Smile. Stay positive and wishing you luck but that does look like a good strong BFP Wink

Ps. With my chemicals no symptoms really and it is normal to have cramps / mild af type pain which I did have with my successful BFPs and all was well x

I’ve had many chemicals and non as dark as that at 11dpo! This is a positive positive! Congrats 🎉

Thanks all for your replies and support! I was feeling tentatively hopefully especially til Monday as the line got really quite dark - almost as dark as the control line. But today the line has got a bit lighter I think and I can't help feeling it's all over. Still have sporadic cramping and a little brown (but not red) spotting. But it's the line that is really bothering me.

HOWEVER - I feel like maybe the frer lines get darker over 24 hours, is there a chance previous tests now appear falsely darker than they did when first taken?

Would really appreciate opinions/line eyes/stories both positive and negative! Should I be steeling myself to break out the wine? Sad

Really sorry xxx

BifsWif · 13/10/2018 17:26

I’m really sorry. I had a lot of early losses too, three all before 5 weeks and my doctor prescribed progesterone supplements. My next pregnancy was successful, it might be worth speaking to your GP. Flowers

I'm sorry chestnut it's so distressing I wish there was something I could say that made it easier Thanks

MATTSMAMMA · 13/10/2018 20:44

So sorry to hear that x

I'm in the same boat @chestnut9. I had a MMC in March, a CP in June (faint line that never got darker, period as normal). CP in September (very faint line, blood test the next day as had an asthma attack and was put on steroids, and HCG was only 8) and then this week I had my BFP the day I started bleeding. (Happened on Thursday like yours too.)

My GP is referring me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. Have you talked to yours?

I have a feeling my progesterone levels are low. I'm looking into possibly having acupuncture because I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Sending you big hugs xxx
