Ovulating Twice ????? Is that even possible ...

Hey ladies,

Happy Friday !!!

I am very very confused on the ovulation kit. I thought I'd try the ovulation kit out on the 23/09/2018 and it came back that I was fertile and ovulating, but here's the catch I have been having these really weird cramps this week and I thought to just pee on the stick again (tmi so sorry) and it came back with a double line again I really need help !!! I am thinking the pains are PMS as I start my period next week Friday but I just don't understand why the Opk has come back positive again ???

2 possibilities

1. first time round you didn't ovulate (OPKs pick up the LH surge not the actual ovulation) or,
2. you are pregnant, take a test

When you say double lines- is the second line as dark as the control line??

That happened to me once.. turned out I was pregnant!

I would take a pregnancy test, I peed OPK,
And it came up with 2 very darks lines, more out of curiosity I'm now 3 nearly 4 weeks pregnant! Good luck xxx

Also happened to me and I was pregnant, did the second ovulation test a week before period due and said I was ovulating so took an early pregnancy test as well and was pregnant, so worth checking!

Happened to me. Turns out I have hyper-ovulation so both sides release an egg,and for me it meant having two periods a months. And it’s why I ended up with two fertilised eggs and a twin pregnancy!

Me and my husband have been trying for a baby since this year June I just hope I am pregnant girls !!!

When I say two lines I mean dark lines they are real dark on both occasions..

I really don't want to my hopes up but I forgot to mention I started having these cramps on Monday and I am having clear discharge as well a milky clearish discharge but no smell what so ever once again so sorry for tmi

I hope I get as lucky as you ladies and everyone who is pregnant now a big congrats!!! I feel like I could be but then I don't know I'm in two minds about this whole ovulation kit thingy

I bet you are pregnant OP. Please do a test and keep us updated. Best of luck

Fingers crossed. This also happened to me when I was pregnant!

I did a pregnancy test girls and it came back negative but I'm going to wait till the 12th which is next week Friday and see if my period starts if not then I'll re test again and I'm hoping fingers crossed I might be lucky and get a positive !!!

I don't think OPKs are particularly reliable (certainly the cheap ones). I used to get +ve ones from about Day 10 to Day 20

I have had the symptoms of ovulating twice my last couple of cycles. I put it down to being over 40 and my body chucking as many eggs out as possible! Bloody glad I'm too knackered to actually have sex, twins are not part of the plan right now!

I bought the one from boots ..

But the pregnancy test I have just used was the clear blue digital pregnancy test as that's all I could find at this time of night which just said not pregnant and I was wondering if they are as sensitive as the pregnancy tests that have the pink/red lines .. I think I may just have to wait till next week Friday ...

The digital ones are not as sensitive, get something with pink dye!
