Any chance I could be pregnant?

Hi,

My Partner and I are currently trying to conceive and I am just wondering if anyone else has been in the same position and what the outcome was. I was diagnosed with PCOS around 9 months ago, however I have had regular periods since April. I am currently over 2 weeks late and have took 4 pregnancy tests, but they are all negative. I have been experiencing mild nausea, headaches and tiredness. I am overweight and only have one kidney, and am just wondering if this could affect the hCG levels in my urine? I completely understand that if I was pregnant I would be nearly 7 weeks and usually this would without a doubt show up on a pregnancy test. But just to rule it out and I am just wondering if anyone has ever experienced negative tests and then actually been pregnant? Thanks in advance x

I would say go to your doctor and ask for a blood test. It's the only way of really knowing. Explain the situation and they will hopefully do one to put your mind at rest. Negative bfps after this long are very very rare but not completely impossible. I've heard of people taking weeks to get a positive and not finding out until a blood test. I wouldn't get my hopes up if I was you.... The chances are very low but everyone who desperately wants a bfp should get one so fingers crossed and good luck Flowers

Thank you so much. Definitely think I will book a doc apt to explain and ask if I can get a blood test. Really trying not to get my hopes up and what is meant to be will be. Thank you xx

I know how hard it is not to get your hopes up. We've bee. Trying for 7 years so believe me I know. Just stay positive, stay hopeful, don't stress, be happy and most importantly.... Relax Smile

Hi all,

I’m pretty much new this, just joined to share my feeling with other people trying to conceive. I’m 9dpo today did a pregnancy test yest came back negative. Couldn’t resist even though I know it’s early but still feel disheartened! Had really bad cramps 6dpo and mild cramps ever since really trying to hold off doing another test till Monday! Any thought would be much appreciated. Smile
