Am I being crazy? Neplanon but feel pregnant?

Bit of background; I have been on nexplanon twice now, for three years, then 4 months when I got a new one on the expiry of the last. With my last implant I had irregular bleeding for a year, which was sorted by taking the mini pill, and was fine for two year until the last month before the new one where bleeding started again. Since having the new one I have had no side effects and no bleeding whatsoever.

Since Monday I have been feeling off, mild nausea, food aversion, mild lower stomach cramping, particularly my bottom left abdomen which is always more sensitive since appendix removal, constipation. Temperature is also higher than normal (37.3 when I’m usually around 36.5), but not a cause for concern. My mum suggested some kind of flu/bug but I don’t have any other symptoms but these so doesn’t really fit, and the worst is the nausea and fatigue, but I’m still completely functional, so it’s not extreme either.

My partner asked if I could be pregnant, which had crossed my mind but dismissed the thought because the implant is almost always effective so it would be rare for it to fail! I know that the symptoms of pregnancy can be side effects of nexplanon, but after 3.5 years of it with no side effects but the bleeding patterns, it’s unlikely they would just all kick in now at once!

I did a cheap test off eBay and it was neg. However, yesterday I had a tiny bit of pinky brown bleeding one time not again. Which got me thinking again what if that was implantation bleeding?

Am I just going crazy and seeing these signs and running with it or does it sound suspicious? Theoretically I could have conceived 22/23 weekend (unprotected apart from implant) and then the implantation bleeding would be 10 days after this, adding up dates wise. Also explaining negative test as far too early. Also when would I test again to be sure (I have tests leftover anyway), beginning of next week?

Is there any way you could try a first response? I did one of these and got a very faint positive 7 days before my period was due..
