I got my static smile this morning and tonight is earliest we can dtd. Is it too late? I wanted to last night when it was flashing. I suspected it would be static today, but my dh was away. My worry is what if I would have got a static smile in middle of night so by time we dtd tonight it’s too late if that makes sense?

I think the window after a static smile is 48 hours.

Okay, I’m hoping as I’ve heard it’s too late once you detect ovulation surge and that it’s better to do the day before so sperm has time to get there. But maybe these tests are better at picking up the surge before you ovulate so sperm still has time?

So after a LH surge you tend to then ovulate between 12-36 hours later, you have about a 2 - 3 day window to ensure you get in some more DTD
