"Periods" when pregnant, possible?

Hi everyone,

I can't sleep because I'm obsessing over whether or not I could be pregnant.

My last two "periods" have been unusual, much shorter and lighter than usual (although still some red blood). The last one was due 10 days ago...didn't have any blood at all until 6 days ago and then it only lasted one day. Have had a bit of spotting since.

I know that's too late for implantation bleeding (if I conceived it would have been five weeks ago, boyfriend abroad atm) but has anyone had similar monthly bleeding while pregnant?

Thanks Confused

Have you done a test? Unprotected sex?
It’s possible but those would be my considerations.

My mum was almost 5 months gone with me before she knew, due in part to seemingly still having "periods" albeit light, short ones. So yes it's certainly possible.

@NC4Now I am using Natural Cycles so yes, basically unprotected sex. I took a test last week and it was negative.

Periods ran like clockwork, GP and myself placed me at 6wks, hospital scan placed me at 19wks.

Just as an FYI I was using natural cycles and got pregnant on a day when the app was telling me I wasn’t fertile so I certainly wouldn’t recommend it as a reliable method of contraception.....
