So my period was due 4 days ago and I am normally like clockwork. We have been TTC for a few months now. I have been on the Cambridge diet for the last 6 weeks which is a very low calorie diet (600 cal a day) and i have heard that for some people this can mess with their period and are either later than usual or earlier. The main reason i am confused is that not only is my period late but i have taken 4 pregnancy tests and they all had a very faint 2nd line. This has really stressed me out as obviously once pregnant the diet i am doing is not recommended so don't want to cause any harm incase i am pregnant but at the same time I don't want to destroy all the hard work i've done and come off the diet only to find out my period is just delayed. Anyone else had similar experiences with diets that put you in ketosis and faint pregnancy lines/ late periods?
