Had a miscarriage after 2 weeks still positive how?

Hi everyone,I had a miss carriage 2 weeks today! Had a pregnancy test done yesterday and it was positive and did 1 today and was even darker bfp. So confused!! Should I leave it 1 more week before calling the doctors?

Hun you know deep down you're not pregnant, you miscarried. Tests pick up the pregnancy hormone so it will still be in your body hence a positive result. Its the haaaaardeat thing to go through, but try to concentrate on looking forward now xxxx

I had an MC at 8 weeks and showed positive for at least 3 weeks after surgical management. That said, If I were you I’d speak to my GP/EPU first thing tomorrow. You could have retained products which could lead to infection. I don’t want to scare you but better safe than sorry. I’m really sorry for your loss. It really hurts I know.

When my sister miscarried they did blood tests and pregnancy tests until they were negative to check no retained products so I'd speak to s health care provider today and get some advice x
