@Delilah 7, I see where you're coming from there. More pressure could make it worse. Maybe just a flirty text or two in the day, just to plant the idea??
I'm off today again. Feeling a little better but still a bit gross. My aim is to take the tablets, eat well and make sure I'm showered, dressed and not snotty for when dh comes home. Need to at least look like I'm safe to be near... got the peak static face this morning!! Dtd must occur tonight!!

Delilah7 · 11/10/2018 09:19

@FivexFive yeah exactly. Awww glad you're feeling abit better. Get the deed done! I've started getting some mucus, not egg white so I reckon ovulation will be next week maybe! I hope x x x

@delilah7 @katbecool yeah that was the thing, neither of us were in the mood but because he initiated I was like wahey but just didn’t get anywhere so decided to leave it. So was more a case of trying because it was the day we thought we should rather than either of us wanting to x

FlapJackered · 11/10/2018 10:39

@sunshine1987 I feel exactly like that, it's so hard not to take it to heart isn't it. I am not great with rejection especially when it is quite hard putting yourself out there all the time.

@BabySquid omg in the tww I get so many baby dreams especially when I am going to be testing the next day - and so vivid!

@Delilah7 I am glad in a way for you that it is all out in the open, hopefully the air will clear a bit and your bro will realise how much he has been upsetting you and your mum. ❤️

@KatBeCool I love your attitude to sex, and actually I have been telling myself to think about sex this morning and it does get you in the mood! I understand what @Delilah7 is saying though as if DH said that we were having sex tonight and to think about it all day I might feel a bit pressured if I didn't want it, but I think it depends on the person. I don't think my DH is capable of feeling pressured! He is so laid back he is horizontal and I think that is part of the problem! I might try saying it in a jokey way and see how it goes down!

@FivexFive lots of make up and a coffee and just tell him you're completely over it! Stuff tissue paper up your nose and whip them out last minute! 😂
That static smiley is not going to stick around!

FivexFive · 11/10/2018 10:53

@FlapJackered, ha ha that made me laugh :) Might have to do the tissue up nose plan! I feel really determined this month. Possibly because the idea of telling people at Christmas is very appealing...
I think you're on the right track with saying it in a joking kind of way. Keep it light, a bit flirty. Hopefully he gets the message without it getting too serious. Good luck! Xx

MrsC87 · 11/10/2018 12:32

Hey ladies so I'm only cycle day 26 and feel AF is on her way. Cramping like crazy today.
Here's to cycle 4. Need to up the amount of dtd!! Back to OPK's too 🙂 hope you are all okay and having a good day?

KatBeCool · 11/10/2018 12:57

@Delilah7 @FlapJackered it depends on what you consider pressure. It's not like if DH says "I'm in severe pain", I go all predator-ey on him. Maybe what I said came out a bit wrong. My point was that both us ignore the "not in the mood" of our own, not of the other person. Meaning, I don't let my own mood get in the way. I still respect his. Granted I guess I'm lucky my DH is on board with that plan. But I do make sure to let him know early enough to get the mood up. It was his words to me that thinking about it all day puts him in the mood, but I never forced him to think about it, merely said in the morning something like "stick is steady smiling, tonight is the night", he takes care of the rest 🙂

Delilah7 · 11/10/2018 13:50

@FlapJackered I hope so too babe x x

DH is so sweet and good and kind. I'm firmly in the TWW, PMS is hitting hard and he got me a little present of a necklace with a note for an expectant Mum to cheer me up because he's hopeful that it will happen for us. I love that man so much.

Delilah7 · 11/10/2018 17:17

@ValidUser what a wonderful man, brownie points ❤️❤️

FlapJackered · 11/10/2018 18:01

@ValidUser that is so cute! You lucky lady!

@KatBeCool that is so good you're both in the same head space. I don't let my mood get in the way now but unfortunately with DH the mood has to be just right! 🙄

stormtrooperjulian · 11/10/2018 18:24

I’d like to ask a TMI question.....

How much / for how long do you get ewcm? For the past two cycles I’ve only noticed it on ov day. But I’m on CD9 now and I’ve had loads for three days now! Is that normal? Normally my cm is creamy at this point in my cycle. Does anyone have any idea why I’ve suddenly got loads of ewcm instead?

Lougg · 11/10/2018 18:28

@stormtrooperjulian have you been DTD a lot lately? I sometimes find it hard to distinguish between EWCM and leftover (for want of a better word)... jizz 😉

Delilah7 · 11/10/2018 18:32

On the topic of CM for those have had a MC has yours come back? I mean I've had EWCM but I don't get hardly any mucus imbetween like I used to running up ovulation etc. It does worry me!

OP posts:
stormtrooperjulian · 11/10/2018 18:37

@Lougg no more than usual! Normally I find that the leftover jizz has finished reappearing 😂😂 by the next morning, and I was getting the ewcm stuff yesterday 48 hours after we last dtd.

KatBeCool · 11/10/2018 18:54

@FlapJackered there a time or two when I had a flopper in my hand and there was no coaxing it straight. Thankfully it wasn't during the most crucial days.

@stormtrooperjulian it varies for me, but I've seen ewcm up to three days after the ovulation.

@Lougg we had that discussion a few threads back. Other than the smell (of you're not into it haha), ewcm springs back and stretches well. Other stuff doesn't stretch.

Dosmamas · 11/10/2018 19:26

Weird question, can you temp with tympanic thermometers or does it have to be under the tounge temps?

RobynC19 · 11/10/2018 19:34

I had the positive ovulation strips on Sunday morning yet today I have been having Ewcm 4dpo so going to dtd tonight any way just to cover all bases

KatBeCool · 11/10/2018 19:44

@Dosmamas it's most accurate when you use a basal thermometer and... not in your mouth.

Dosmamas · 11/10/2018 19:48

@KatBeCool no way! I did not know that! 😂😂😂 so it goes in the vag then? I can't believe I didn't know that! And I should order a basal thermometer then??

KatBeCool · 11/10/2018 20:00

@Dosmamas yes and yes. You also need to make sure you always measure the same way and don't go deeper than 2cm.

Dosmamas · 11/10/2018 20:17

@KatBeCool I love this thread. Thankyou. How embarrassing lol. We are too late this month to temp. FW starts today and we are seeing our donor on Saturday, so our official TWW starts Sunday. Hopefully we can get two donations out of our guy this month. I actually want three days in a row but we will see...

KatBeCool · 11/10/2018 20:19

@Dosmamas it's never too late, especially if the FW is just starting.

Dosmamas · 11/10/2018 20:21

Oh really? Just goes to show how much I don't know about temping TBH time to do some research me thinks. Blush
