@cookiewaffle deal!

@delilah7 oh dear. You know sometimes in the nicest way possible it's ok to just keep your distance and ignore her for a while. It's not the exact same thing but my SIL is the same, she is a proper selfish cow and only ever thinks of herself and her own family, only ever does things to suit herself. The last straw was at my wedding when I had my niece and nephew in the wedding party, she contradicted every decision I'd made about what they would wear/ do etc on the day. She made it so difficult for me, when it wasn't even meant to be about her, it was our day!

So now, I dont arrange to see her, I don't go to events she invites me to (usually kids parties, she has 5 of them!!) And you know what?

Best thing I ever did.
Because the only thing she ever brings to me is stress. She does not give me anything I value in a friend or family, and quote frankly is a drain.

I see her mainly just at Christmas now and at other family stuff my mum organises, and you know what, I can tolerate her much better for it!!!

Delilah7 · 03/10/2018 17:05

@Crossfitgirl perfect advise Hun honestly. What about if she messages me etc as I want her to know where I'm at x x

@Crossfitgirl and @CookieWaffle are you both testing on Sunday? AF is due for me Sun/Mon- BUT was hoping to try and wait it out to Tues/Wed if by any chance I was late. Fingers crossed for you both 🤞 And yes @Crossfitgirl I've not really let myself think that they really might be symptoms- I feel like as soon as I do that, boom AF rocks up! And it's only my 3rd cycle, so I know it's still pretty unlikely. Xxx

summer28 · 03/10/2018 19:31

And so sorry to hear what you're going through @mrsof20118 . Really hope you're doing ok and that you've got the love and support you need around you. It's a difficult time. But it does come to an end eventually and you will start to feel better again xx

Crossfitgirl · 03/10/2018 19:48

@summer28 yes we are, although I'm pretty sure I won't get to Sunday as AF feels like it's gonna be here tomorrow! V bloated and spotting getting darker, it's definitely on the way I think :-(

summer28 · 03/10/2018 21:16

I've felt a bit like that too @Crossfitgirl, but it's felt like it's really about to happen for the last 5-6 days even though it's way too early. I've just not felt like it before really. Xx

Crossfitgirl · 04/10/2018 07:16

@delilah7 it's up to you, if you need her to know then tell her, but there is no harm in just leaving it for a while until you cool off and aren't as bothered about it. Do whatever you think will stress you out less :-)

ValidUser · 04/10/2018 07:19

I'm sorry for all the AFs.

We need a BFP soon. X

Delilah7 · 04/10/2018 07:49

@Crossfitgirl think I'll probably try ignore her for a while xx

Sending hugs to everyone ❤️ hope you're all feeling a bit better this morning xxx

stormtrooperjulian · 04/10/2018 12:12

AF arrived yesterday for me, but on the bright side it’s heavier than last month and seems more normal so I’m finding it encouraging that my lining must have been better this time around. Last month af was so light I was worried that my lining was too thin to support anything.

Delilah7 · 04/10/2018 12:33

@stormtrooperjulian I'm sorry Hun xx

cupcakesandglitter · 04/10/2018 12:48

@stormtrooperjulian mine is crazily light this cycle, did yours last the same length? Xx

cupcakesandglitter · 04/10/2018 12:50

Also @stormtrooperjulian sorry to hear about AF 😔 XX

EssJayyCee · 04/10/2018 12:50

AF has shown her face in full style! Hello CD1.
Do you count spotting days as cd1 or first day of full bleeding?

stormtrooperjulian · 04/10/2018 13:13

@cupcakesandglitter this cycle was only 25 days, 3 days shorter than last time. I guess my cycles are still settling after coming off the implant. I remember being very regular as a teen but that was a long time and a lot of hormonal contraceptives ago!

cupcakesandglitter · 04/10/2018 13:19

@stormtrooperjulian sorry hun I asked the wrong question 😂 I meant how long did AF last for? Mine is only two/three days I think which is so unusual for me! How long have you been off contraception now? X

Delilah7 · 04/10/2018 13:19

Sorry to hear about the AFs ladies.

Got my bloods back since my hospital trip in August, I went only last week for he bloods. My blood cells are back to normal but my amylase are raised and high... any doctors or nurses that know what that means haha. Can't tell me the levels till I've spoke to doctor Monday but it's been this way since last year x x

stormtrooperjulian · 04/10/2018 13:20

@cupcakesandglitter my light period was 2 days of very light bleeding and a day of spotting, so quite a bit shorter than usual (I wasn’t sure whether you meant the cycle or the period 😂)

Dosmamas · 04/10/2018 17:39

Basic questions here, what are your preferred pre-Natals we have run out and want to get some decent ones, I've been put off getting seven seas after women described their cycles changing.

feverbee · 04/10/2018 17:57

AF has arrived 🙈 I think we're all syncing! on to cycle 3. We're going to try eating better this cycle, exercising more and drinking less alcohol. I've also just started taking pregnancy vitamins. Has anything else helped for you gals?

mrsof20118 · 04/10/2018 18:09

@Dosmamas we tried the pre conception seven seas and they made me quite bloated and painful tummy!

Dosmamas · 04/10/2018 18:12

@mrsof20118 ooh that sounds horrible, I've heard quite a few negative things about them. Looking for some recommendations on here, it's a bit of a minefield.

FivexFive · 04/10/2018 18:52

@Dosmamas I just take folic acid with vit D, as per nhs advice. Get mine from from holland and barratts. Haven't bothered with others, having heard mixed reviews and sure how much good they really do?? But I am trying to eat better... we'll see how that goes!

Almost purchased a book on.pregnancy today, but stopped myself as it seems a bit 'tempting fate' to get one when I'm not actually pregnant!

It's almost Friday ladies! Anyone got any weekend plans? All of you on af should definitely treat yourselves to a little something! Xxx

ValidUser · 04/10/2018 18:54

@Dosmamas you're the person you meant to reply to and only remembered now! I used to do wine and chocolate for pms, but these days I'm trying to avoid drinking after the first few days of the TWW. I'm trying exercise, but it just doesn't have the same charm...
