Did a first response pregnancy test today ( 5 days before expected period) and says negative. I know I should wait I just couldn’t hold off!! Anyone done this before and done one closer to the time and got a positive ? Feeling really down now, hoping my hormone levels just aren’t high enough!

I can’t speak from expert personally (BFPs I’ve had have been from after my period was due), but 5 days before is quite early so you still could be pregnant. It’s so hard to wait, isn’t it? That I do know. Fingers crossed for you!

5 days is still very early. My only turned on dpi 13.

It's totally dependent on when implantation occurs. For example, with DS I didn't get a positive until the day my period was due - he implanted at 11dpo (I had implantation bleeding which is how I know) but with my current pregnancy I got a positive at 7dpo so must have implanted at 5 or 6 days post ovulation.

I’m two days late on period. Feeling sick and MEGA sore boobs. Still no positive test though
