9 days late (CD44), negative tests

Hey there, I’ve been TTC#1 for over a year and a half and previously always had 35 day cycles. Once we started TTC I started to eat sore boobs in the TWW every month (never had it before) and after a while my cycles increased to about 39-40 days occasionally.

I went to the docs and my thyroid was normal but a tiny bit high for TTC so they put me on levithyroxine 25 which I’ve been on for nearly 6 months now. They also confirmed I was ovulating normally. My cycles gradually got better and I had three perfect months there until this cycle which has been totally different from any other. No sore boobs except a tiny bit yesterday, no cramps except very mild twinges, and no period! It’s now 9 days late (CD44) and I have done two tests in that time, both super negative. I have a gyno appointment on Monday but am getting really worried that something is seriously wrong with me or that I have an ectopic pregnancy and will end up in hospital before the appointment. I realise I might be being totally dramatic but my period has never been so late before and it had been so perfect the last three cycles.

Not expecting any answers here really, just wanted to write out how I’m feeling really as I don’t have anyone to talk to about this (other that DH who is at work!). If anyone has any experience of this happening please let me know.

If you’re getting BFNs it’s more likely that you have had an anovulatory cycle. They can happen now and again.

You may still ovulate. Do you track with opks?

Hi, I’ve not tried OPKs yet, will have to try them next cycle.

Still no AF and now getting dull aches in my left side. I need to stop googling!
