BBT HELP

Hi all,

I'm 2dpo (confirmed by a positive OPK) and I've had a 0.3C dip in my bbt. I'm new to logging bbt but from what I understand my temp should rise not drop? And if there was to be a dip it would usually occur 7-10 days after ovulation.

Has anybody else experienced this? Currently 5 months ttc and trying to stay positive.

Thanks

Can you post a picture of your chart?

TwittleBee · 26/09/2018 13:30

yeah posting a pic of your chart would be more easier to understand.

But a post ov temp drop isnt that uncommon around 2/3 dpo. In fact, when I used to chart, I always had a temp drop around then

Between 2-7 dpo you have a corpus luteum dip. The corpus luteum is a little cyst on the ovary that releases the egg. It’s what releases the progesterone that keeps your temp high. If you’re not pregnant it disintegrated and your temp stays lower
