First Response Preg Test - REALLY dark test line

Hi All,

After 2 years of TTC and a MMC along the way on Friday i got my bfp! I have tested again this morning and the test line is so dark in comparison to the control line....is this normal? I'm not 100% on dates as I have PCOS and on my last cycle of clomid but i think i am about 4/5 weeks based on LMP as 18th August.

Is this normal to have such a dark positive? I am freaking out something isn't right!

Can you post a pic of test? Sounds like a bfp to me though!

Go to your GP as soon as possible and get a blood test. Did the line also appear before the time the box said it would take? If so, could be twins. That was the case for me anyway. In any case, huge congratulations x

Could have just been more dye in the test... your wee might have been super concentrated. Darkness of line doesn't necessarily mean much (other than you're pregnant).

@LaLoose That is my concern, The test line was there even before the control line! Thanks all, think i need to get a scan booked in asap.

Could you try a digital test with weeks? That would probably give you an idea. Good luck x
