Evap in a frer?

How common are evap lines on a frer first response? Stupidly I decided to take a test not using fmu at 10dpo (due af today) and there's a line, but it's faint and light so can't be 100% that it's pink, I know how daft this was 😂 should have waited but has anyone got any experience on this?

Frer have horrendous indent lines which are pretty common. I also had a faulty one last month that showed an obvious line within the correct time frame but faded to nothing after an hour. Second frer using the same.fmu sample was bfn so was not a chemical. They're sadly not perfect.

Wow really @Hopefullxo this is cycle 7/8 and was so sure AF was starting yesterday cause I had cramps! Even told DH that this month hadn't worked haha will keep my fingers crossed for us both :)

Congratulations! I had exact same thing happen to me today (I’m 11 DPO according to fertility friend) so waiting until tomorrow to test again! I just know FRER are awful for evap lines!

Looks good and different to mine which is what I think is an evap line as af has started.

Hopeful yours was an evap, but doesn't mean you are out of the running.

Yes, i had another positive but unfortunately as of last night i've had a 4th unsuccessful.
