Hello.

Just looking for people who are in the same boat as me.

Had a chemical pregnancy starting on the 3rd of sept. Bloods were all over the place up and down over the next 2 weeks plus bleeding but got a neg test a week ago today.

I have no idea when I will ovulate which I won’t like not knowing and feel I’m already out this month. Trying not to over think things but hard to do when you don’t know what your body is doing.
Been getting a little abdo pain today and my boobs have been hurting for like 4 days but not sure if this is maybe post chemical related or something else?
Hope someone can help with this.

Just hoping other people may be going through the same thing and we can all get our BFP that will stick together.

Hi there!
Im very new to this, only signed up today so have no idea what I'm doing 😂
I'm in the same boat...had an early miscarriage in June, i was 4 weeks (Not sure if this is the same as a chemical pregnancy?) My stomach hurt, felt like bad period pains for a week or 2 after then things went back to normal

rachyrach300 · 22/09/2018 20:27

Hey!

Yes it is the same as a miscarriage just means your early (before 6 weeks I think?)

Have you gone back to normal cycles now?

Is this your first baby?

My cycles were all over the place before that, now they're getting nice and long which is one positive!
Since the miscarriage they've been 30/33 days.

Yes this is our first baby, we've been trying since January! What about you?

rachyrach300 · 22/09/2018 20:44

It’s my 2nd baby!

Just knowing what your body is doing helps doesn’t it! Even if it is a 33 day cycle hey!

My miscarriage was the first month trying this time round and really thought I had gotten lucky!

When are you next due then?

Yeah! Considering my cycles were 16 days and less for months and months it's nice to know that they're normal now!

i can imagine! How are you feeling? It was only a couple of weeks ago?

I started on Thursday but then today it stopped which is odd because I normally have a 4/5 day period so I'm a bit confused why! I did tests last week and they were negative so I know I'm not pregnant so I'm worried why it was only 2 days this time!

Similar boat. TTC #2 since Jan, fell pregnant straight away but had an MMC in April. Last month AF was late, I got my BFP but within a week on 7 Sep I started bleeding and it was a CP.

My AF was a bit longer than it usually is- 8 days and was heavy then light, heavy then light. I have started using Clear blue advanced ovulation kits for a couple of months so used it this month. I counted my AF from first day of bleed as it was red blood so that means I am ovulation a little later this month as I only got my static smiley yesterday (which suggests I'm ovulating any time within 24/48 hours of static smiley)

Fingers crossed we get that sticky bean soon!

Sorry to hear you’re all going through this ladies. I had a mcc in April. Similar situation to you op where it took a while for my hcg levels to go down (about 4 weeks until I got my bfn). My cycles took a while to return to normal and I had my first normal cycle in July. I’m now 5+4. It’s still early days and I’m obviously still anxious, but wanted to share a positive story. Just hang in there xx

rachyrach300 · 23/09/2018 08:39

@lbish I feel ok, it’s just one of them things. Was upset at first but then it dragged (well felt like it) for a few weeks so just wanted it over so I can move on.

Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday! dTd the day before but other than that’s been on a family holiday so not done it at all for a week. So not very hopefully but we will see.

It was so easy last time I’m hoping it works this month.

@newbie21 welcome! So lovely to have others in the same boat.

When did u get a neg pregnancy test? It took me 2 weeks from the first bleed so counting the 2nd bleed the start of my cycle? Not sure if it’s right but if it is I would ovulate around Monday - and i think I did yesterday so pretty close!

Not using OPK this month but will next if it doesn’t work.

@mummytoboyxx thanks for your lovely story! I’m sure it will be fine this time. Please keep us updated on your story and times goes on. Are you going to have any early scans?

It was the not knowing and waiting that was the hardest part. It was weird hoping for a bfn just so that you could get back to ‘normal.’ I’ve booked myself I’m for a private scan at 8 weeks. Definitely couldn’t wait until 12! I’ll keep everything crossed for all of you. Xx

@rachyrach300 I got my BFN quite quickly - 6 days into bleeding. I used CB tests so not as sensitive as some tests - 25miu - so think because it was such early days it showed up quite quickly for me but everyone varies. Very different after my MMC and D&C where it took nearly a month for a BFN.

If this cycle doesn't work out for you then I definitely recommend opks - at least it gives you the assurance that your body is working as it should as everything feels a bit weird after an MC.
