Hi all, just after some advice or support. DS is nearly 15 months now, and we've decided that we would like to ttc #2.

However, I've not had a period since he was born by emergency CS in June last year!! I did have a single depo injection in September last year but didn't follow it up as it made me feel crappy.

I've been to see a gynaecologist who said it's probably hormonal, did a full hormone profile...all normal. I had a uterine ultrasound which showed a strange 'hypoechoic' (?!) area in my uterine scar, and my GP said my blood is possibly draining into my abdominal cavity?!!!!!!! Wtf. Gynae said this is unlikely, but then all my hormones came back normal so she wants the scan repeating.

She did say there's an outside chance it's an unusual reaction to the depo and that it's still effecting me a year on....but also that that is highly unlikely.

So now I'm at home stressing that my uterus is fucked and I'm not going to be able to have #2, which I'm surprisingly devastated about. I thought 1 would be enough but I now really want another. I'm also 34 so time is not on my side!

Has anyone been through any (unlikely all!) of these symptoms? Did your periods come back? Tell me I'm not barren now!!!
