My cycles are fairly regular (usually 28 days give or take a day or so either way). They’ve always been pretty spot on ever since I’ve been having periods. I have never, in 16 years of period-dom bled or spotted between periods. Ever.
I’m not ttc anymore. We tried for 2 years then just decided to call it a day. We were diagnosed after a billion tests with unexplained infertility. I’m okay with it, not bothered going back on to birth control.
Anyway, went for a wee this morning and there was brown spotting when I wiped. Then when I went for a wee this afternoon, the same happened. In fact, all day I’ve been getting quite a lot of brown spotting. It’s only stopped within the last hour or so.
The thing is, my period isn’t due for about another 10 days. I googled and implantation bleeding was the first thing that came up but tbh, if I’m going on a rough estimate, we only had sex on Sunday which would have been the day after I should have ovulated and today would make me 5dpo which is too early for IB.
So my question is, is it possible for your period to come this early? I’ve heard about it being super late but not almost two weeks early? I’ve not been any more/less stressed than usual, not been doing anything out of the ordinary. With having such regular(ish) periods normally and having never had spotting between periods ever in my life, I’m worried that it might be something more sinister :/
