Yes I’m in completely the same situation. This is a faint line I got on another test 8/9 dpo but I tested the next day on a digital and got a bfn!

Starting to think the line might have just been evap.

So confusing!! Fingers crossed for you though x

I don't think clearblue are as sensitive as the Asda ones. I'd stick to the Asda tests and try again tomorrow. Good luck!

Proseccopanda · 20/09/2018 19:27

@OceanPearl digital are definitely not sensitive enough to be testing that early, so don't be disheartened x

OceanPearl · 20/09/2018 19:33

Trying to be realistic so I’m not disappointed when I get more BFN’s!
I’ve ordered some FRER’s so I might test with them over the weekend. Hard to know whether to keeping testing or just wait for AF x

Hopefullxo · 20/09/2018 19:51

I'm so nervous, whats the difference between a line and evaporation line??

OP posts:
Hopefullxo · 20/09/2018 19:52

@Proseccopanda can you get a fake positive?

OP posts:
NamelessEnsign · 20/09/2018 20:32

Hi there, I got a very clear but very false positive with a pink Asda test; negative on FRER a day later and then AF arrived, so I’m afraid I wouldn’t trust an Asda test which isn’t backed up by another brand!

Hopefullxo · 20/09/2018 20:38

@NamelessEnsign i'm on week 11 with no sign of period coming :(

OP posts:
Proseccopanda · 21/09/2018 07:19

I've seen people getting what looks like a positive, but isn't, on blue dye tests, but not pink, so surprised to read @NamelessEnsign's experience. I've used Asda tests before, but I was pregnant, so in my experience they were accurate.

Have you tested again this morning @Hopefullxo xx

Hopefullxo · 21/09/2018 07:35

@Proseccopanda i'm picking up a test after work and will be testing tomorrrow morning, i would rather it be negative though, my fiancé left me yesterday :( so i do in a way hope it was a false positive

OP posts:
NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2018 07:47

You don't get false positives. It will either be a chemical pregnancy, or a dye run (possibly caused by a flooded test). Or, if a light line, an evap.

I hope you get the result you want, Hopeful. Sorry to hear about your fiancé. Flowers

Hopefullxo · 21/09/2018 10:36

@NoWordForFluffy it was a pink line that came up almost immediately i cant post picture due to being new, but I'm rather worried, i had a pregnancy in February after a negative clear blue and a positive boots tests, i was scanned and was pregnant, so i don't trust clear blue but heard bad things about asda.. so i'm worries

OP posts:
NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2018 17:40

What kind of Clear Blue? Not all tests are the same sensitivity, so it doesn't mean the Clear Blue was wrong, necessarily, it just means you didn't have the right amount of HcG in your urine to make it positive.

Teachermummy83 · 22/09/2018 06:41

I had a positive test last night on an Asda digital test. Counting the hours until the supermarket opens so I can get another to retest and confirm today.
I’ve had lots of symptoms - metallic taste, tight abdominal feeling, food has recently tasted horrible or REALLY strong, everyrhubg around me smells strong and I was stupidly emotional last week. I also felt very queasy on a recent trip but I’m prone to travel sickness anyway.
The thing is, I’ve also had very dark but very slight bleeding? Does that sound like pisssubke implantation bleeding?

Teachermummy83 · 22/09/2018 14:27

After last nights positve test on an Asda digital, I’ve now got a negative on clear-blue first thing this morning and some light bleeding - but almost too light for a normal period? To confuse things even further, I’ve had very slight, very dark bleeding all week (before last nights positive) so I’m totally confused! Sorry if that’s too much information.
Does anyone have any idea what’s going on?

Hopefullxo · 22/09/2018 18:24

@Teachermummy83 have you taken another test otoday?

OP posts:
Teachermummy83 · 22/09/2018 18:35

@hopeful, no not yet. Waiting for hubby to get home. Can’t decide whether to test tonight (as night-time was lucky yesterday!) or wait until morning? Having really strong metallic tastes again though. So confused!

Hopefullxo · 22/09/2018 19:53

@Teachermummy83 good luck!! Fingers crossed for you x

Looks positive to me! Grin

Hopefullxo · 22/09/2018 20:03

@Lymphy this is what i thought of first asda test, got a BFN on clear blue now second asda is the one posted.. i hear a lot of bad press about the asda cheapies.. i'm just so confused

OP posts:
Lymphy · 22/09/2018 20:06

Was it a clear blue digital? The pink dyes are better imo, could you get a first response test? I defo see a line and it's looking pink to me stupid question but did you pee on it or dip it

Hopefullxo · 22/09/2018 20:11

@Lymphy my last pregnancy that was a mc i had to find out via scan i was pregnant after BFN clear blue and its making me more nervous, i peed on the stick

OP posts:
Lymphy · 22/09/2018 20:17

It really shouldn't matter but maybe try dipping the test in a cup of urine it will just prevent flooding of the test that can sometimes cause the dye to run, I would invest in a first response test they are good, honestly though I do see a clear line there x

Hopefullxo · 22/09/2018 20:28

@Lymphy i'm so worried with it all, going to give it till pay day, so 6 days then test with FR, ive had 3 MC i don't think i'll cope with a 4th :( i've not had AF since July but no other symptoms other than overly bloated looking belly that never seems to disappear and awful dull feeling twinges in my lower stomach, its driving me insane x
